Re: Weekend Football

Makes me f*cking sick that the points deductions are so light. The PL could and should have followed the same as the EFL. 12 points reduced to 6 if they follow budgets set with salary caps and transfer embargos. Break that set budget and the other 6 points come off. The PL have f*cked this up so ba...

Re: Massive new regulations hitting English football

Someone on Twitter has noticed the Premier League have started running attack ads regarding a regulator for football: https://twitter.com/sgfmann/status/1777242796086227366 The one found was oddly placed in the middle of an article about David Cameron going to the US in an attempt to get military a...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

Winston Biscuit Portuguese media apparently reporting that Liverpool are in discussions with Ruben Amorim and are offering him a 3 year contract

This will either take Liverpool to a completely new level of dominance or they'll disappear backwards quicker than it takes to laugh at yet another Nunez miss.

Re: Weekend Football

And at the other end, wait for the shitstorm if City win the title this season and only then are found guilty of various charges. Given it's bound be years before there's any light leading to the end of that utterly disgusting farce I really can't see any comment specifically that won't be already ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Bristol Rovers (a)

Looking forward to going to this game tomorrow night; in the home standing area behind the dug outs (I am going with a Rovers' supporting colleague) so should be fun. His verdict on Rovers is that they are already mentally on the beach. 3-0 Reading win for me. Luckily Reading got their "on the...

Re: Weekend Football

Nunez is not good enough. Has always lacked composure in key moments and is not getting any better. He cost a lot of money. I don't get why clubs spend that much on an unfinished product. He's quick, strong, hard working etc., and could become a beast of a player, but 18 months into his Liverpool h...

Re: European Leagues Thread 2012/2013

They wouldn't finish top half in the championship Both would probably struggle to get that high. Rangers bottled it as usual, still have the one fixture left this season to try again I believe (which they'll bottle again). God Scottish football is so cr@p. Should move to 2 divisions of 20 clubs and...

Re: TAKEOVER *NOT* CONFIMRED

My diehard Charlton mate had never heard of Leo Rifkin, if he was a dodgy shyster who was involved during their protracted takeover I think he'd be more well known. So I'll take that as a positive. I’m sure there are some die hard Reading fans who have never heard of Kia too…. Who? https://i.ytimg....
