Re: Value on Long's Head?

We'd want more than £4m. It doesn't matter if any idiot on here doesn't think he's worth that, the most important consideration is how much would we need to replace him, no striker who scores 20 goals in one season is going to be cheap. Kitson was. Cureton was. Long was. Doyle came close and was. D...

Re: Value on Long's Head?

gazzer, loyal royal Just spoke to my guy at the club. If we go up he should stay. If not the club are expecting between £5m-£6m for him

That's where I think he is. 6M is quite reasonable

Re: Value on Long's Head?

At the mo he's great - 4-5million minimum . Better than Doyle and Kitson. However only seemed to be able to provide the goods when every last piece of the RFC jigsaw was put in place. I'm not sure if anyone can really dig too deep in their pockets for an "in the right conditions only" pla...

The knock back for Kebe's brill goal was HOWARD, and one reason I
didn't pick it was that it looked like a fluff by Howard

Re: QPR points deduction?

retro royal I think the league only have two options not guilty or dock all points gained when he has played meaning they would be relegated which is 55/1 on betfair

That's interesting. So there is a market for that, at least

Re: Promotion contenders thread

Why presume that both Cardiff and QPR will "do the business"? If Cardiff beat QPR tomorrow, QPR might well wobble A Cardiff H Hull A Watford H Leeds QPR could EASILY lose all four of those games, as the FA hearing gets ever closer. Cardiff or Norwich could be fighting for TOP spot (and a 1...

Or, possibly, we'll end up in 7th with the 3rd best GD.

If we finish the season with the 3rd best GD we'll finish 3rd or 4th, probably 3rd

Re: Promotion contenders thread

I think tonight was the biggest test Norwich faced in thier run in , they came through it easily, hard to see anyone stopping them get an auto place now..looks like the lottery for us, 5th time lucky maybe, Of course, but how many times in history have clubs won the hard game then dropped a goolie ...

Re: The Final Countdown UPDATED 16/4/2011

Agreed, there's me thinking "Didn't Derby play superbly to draw 0-0 at QPR?" and thinking "I'm worried we might not beat Derby at the Madstad." Norwich are now favourites, of course, but it can change in a flash. WNG, ie today at Leeds and it's back on. As many have said, maybe P...

Re: Leeds (A) Predictions

2-2 wouldn't be a surprise but I fancy us to score 4 goals
as their defence is very leaky. 1-4 or 2-4 with Shane getting 2.
