Oster has always had ability but we have too many fans who make up they minds about certain players and can only view those players in one light. Doyle and Shorey "Brilliant" never have bad games Hunt and Oster "not good enough" If we'd started any game last season with both &quo...

Scarface I reckon 50% of the blokes on this board would let Murty botty bash them given half a chance.

Is this really the place for such a confession?.

Fair enough, that's your choice and, as I've said before, if that's the majority view throughout the fan base don't be surprised if Murts opts for a longer deal further down the leagues in preference to the 12 months he's likely to get here....................as did a very good squad player called C...

The problem with giving Murty a testimonial is if you give in to 1, then others will be demanding it when the time comes and without doubt, there a couple of Reading players who if they reach 10 years will feel they deserve it having contributed so much WTF would this be a problem? Is anyone being ...

I can't believe that you are seriously suggesting we take loyalty points from Murty because he was on the long term injured list when he first arrived. As I've said, it will only happen if the fans want it to take place and, if your view prevails, I believe it can only foster the kind of loyalty we ...

Whilst I respect your opinion Woodcote, I personally would begrudge paying £15 to watch what would basically be a friendly against either an uninterested foreign club or a bunch of old ex-footballers and celebrities. Yes, I respect Murty greatly and am glad he looks like seeing out 10 years here b...

Please can we all agree one thing and move on ... IT'S NOT ABOUT THE MONEY ANYMORE  that will go to charity I don't agree. I'd sooner Murty got a substantial sum from a well deserved testimonial than an extended contract at the age of 32. I don't mind paying £15 out of my own pocket to help ...

I understand the Chairman's point of view and would agree that these events should, for the most part, belong in the past. However, I would like think that he is still prepared to show the same flexibility that saw him relent and allow Phil Parkinson his richly deserved testimonial. As I said back t...

Couldn't agree more. Just about everyone who has come in for injuries has done well yet still so many trot out the same line about us having very little cover. As you say, we need cover for Kitson and, although we will obviously look to strengthen in January, this is the only significant weakness, w...

We're 8th in the Barclay's Premier League and we still have the big man to come back into the side and further boost our fire power! And there is still two thirds of the season to go. Welcome to the complacency thread. Looks to me like a thread where everyone is just over the moon at how well their...

i agree, if doyley dets injured we're stuffed til january  Don't get me wrong, I think we'd cope and have already built ourselves a very handy cushion, but there's no doubt KD's even more precious than he was before. Can't you see a certain Mr Warnock starting a "Kick the Doyler" c...

If we keep relying on Doyler he will end up a cripple as well, glad to see Sir Steve take him off on Saturday when the match was all but won. That decision now makes even more sense than it did at the time. Whatever cotton wool we had earmarked for Kits should now be used on the Doyler.................

Like there was any doubt that signing another striker was going to be the priority even before Kits latest injury :?

Gutted for him and us but remain very confident that we have what it takes to survive without our top striker.

I know you like Shorey but keep it real!!

He has a good left foot but he can't compete with 2 specialist wingers having Little's accuracy and the pace Seol puts on his crosses.

He's got the best left foot for free kicks but not crosses.

Spot on regarding your last point.

Whatever their respective strengths, neither Hunt nor Convey are consistently good crossers of the ball.....................Little and Seol are the best by a distance with Shorey a creditable third.

Convey is the left side specialist whereas Little and Seol are right siders. Seol is totally 2 footed and has all already buried 3 impressive goals. My money is on him making the Convey/Hunt debate redundant when Kitson returns...................he has too much quality to leave out of the side unle...
