What I find laughable about those who are so convinced that Convey is the better player is that, if we have one star performer from last season who has yet to show that he can make a real impact at this level, it's Convey. This could be due to the injury he's had since the summer but so far all of H...

May the best man win but Seol will take some dropping even though he goes missing at times. Seol does not track back enough to start on the wing in a 4-man midfield, and Hunt doesnt have the quality. Bobby has pace, can cross, gets back, and links up well with Shorey. Hunt might keep Seol out of th...

When Kitson returns, I can see Seol playing down the left with Hunt on the bench and Bobby in the Upper West! 3 goals (one with a header) so far from our 2 footed winger/striker makes him odds on 2 keeps his place IMHO and I can't see Blakey getting dropped :? Bobby Convey will start when he is ful...

Its up to Hammond and Coppell now. PS - all you Muppets who think he should leave now - what planet are you on?. He was our best player today (although everyone played great) and will continue to be our best ball winner. So "everyone played great" but we should all be bricking it at the t...

We'v scored goals from all over the pitch again this season. Shoot me down if you want but, I can't say we're missing Kitson..... Didn't we score goals from all over the pitch last season? And, didn't Kitson chip in with the odd 20 himself :? Do you think we're better off without those 20 goals? HN...

Haven't seen much of him recently but would have liked us to have signed him when he went to Fulham.

If he's still the same player...........yes please.

papereyes We could have had a look at Sutton or Hartson in the close season. Good, aware players that would have fitted the bill.

There's more chance of hell freezing over than either player joining our pay roll and that suits me fine.

I think it's too early to say. Our defence is now under far more pressure but he's making no more errors than anyone else (and nothing as elementary as Ingimarsson's for Liverpools first on Saturday :? ) Just like Nicky Shorey, Marcus needs serious competition for his place and he's yet to get it fr...

Hahnemann has thrown out to the halfway line on countless occasions since he came here and if he doesn't do it as much as much as many of us would like, it can only because he is acting according to instructions given to him. As I've said before, it seems obvious to me that many kicks are placed dow...

I hope he stays but, as long as we stay up, I think we'll be the best offer he's likely to get unless money is his only consideration. I'm sure Sidwell will get offers from the likes of Charlton and Man City but he's not even close to pulling up enough trees to see the big boys offering the big buck...

Re: Marcus Hahnemann

After a brief chat with my brother he feels Hahnemann is an excellent goalkeeper however i feel strongly against and feel he is pretty terrible. Im going to have a look at his pros: Good Shotstopper Strong Physically and wins most crosses Good rappor with the fans Fantastic Championship Goalie Agai...

Until the day arrives when our league match tickets are regularly going to general sale, so that those who are currently not allowed to apply can do so, there's more chance of Man U getting stuffed 5-0 by Southend, with you and me playing up front for the Shrimpers, than there is of the Mad Stad not...

To be fair, there is still 5 days to go. I know that, but my point is that is tickets are selling quite slowly for a game against Spurs, then it is likely that they would sell even more slowly for a game against Bolton. RFC therefore took the decision to minimise the risk (and there is a risk) of i...

For every supporter for whom the novelty may (also doubtful in my view) be wearing thin, there are countless other fans, neutrals, friends and family etc who have yet to get their hands on a solitary ticket for our Premiership campaign to date. Should the up-take of the small number of non STH seats...

Yep the legacy of Boyd Butler lives on, I think this decision of his was the last straw and Mr M got shot soon after, the fans were not very happy at all with his crap idea. It will be interesting to see if the Everton and West Ham tickets get linked as well so getting less attractive matches to be...
