Re: What's positive at the moment?

Clearly, updates on the playing surface. FFS. Talk about the art of deflection. This lot are masters at it.

Re: Selles confimred

Am I missing something here? If Peter Sellers is the new manager and on holiday with the lads, wouldn't he, at the very least, have made some sort of announcement to the fans?

Can imagine the ref walking into one of the more salubrious houses, where the reply is "Not you again, can't you see I'm cooking the Sunday roast. Now piss off next door"

Excited to see VAR work at Luton Town next season. On field referee walking into the living room of one of the houses on Kenilworth Road and rewinding the incident on Sky +

On the back of that comment, Snowflake, once the Pompey crew were aware that we had a new station, they asked whether we'd finally discovered electricity?

Great pic there Sutekh. Perhaps that should be part of the selection process. First and foremost...must be folically challenged.

Re: Will relegation hurt you?

TBH I feel for all those dedicated souls who will lose their jobs at the club, in whatever capacity. They, whoever 'they' are, say that everything happens for a reason. So I was talking to a bloke earlier about the situation and he said 'Are you relegated yet?' To which I gave him the obvious answer...

Re: New manager poll

I'd like to know why Caroline's mum isn't in the list? Anybody listening to post match phone ins on Saturday would have heard Caroline's rousing Churchillian speech. During which she said that even her mum could manage the team better than PInce. On that basis, Caroline's mum for me

Re: CONFIMRED - Paul Ince sacked

What is it about Don Goodman? Whenever he talks about Reading, he never seems to have a positive word to say about us as a football club. His inference on Sky, a short while ago, is that he feels PInce has been hard done by. Really? Am I right in saying that he carries bad blood from the results we ...

Re: Ince out!

Noel Hunt for last few games? Bit of the Oirish spirit could work wonders. As previous posters have noted, PInce keeps regurgitating the same ol' stuff. Bare bones, injuries, bad referees blah blah. Just do the honourable thing, mukka, and give us at least half a chance of staying up. Which is looki...

Re: Rival Watch

Luton beat Watford 2-0. Naturally Rob Edwards had extra motivation to do a turn on Watford. Think he would have been a good fit for us, if fate had decreed otherwise.

Re: Worst and best rival fans you have seen?

Aggro wise - Man Ure, Watney Cup at home. When Stretford End were out in force. Carduff - FA Cup. Half of Wales in town from early doors. Also Pomps, Sheff Wed and particularly Villa, when each club turned up in numbers and took Southbank. Pompey were trying to push cars over, along Oxy Road, and Vi...

Re: Do you want Ince to stay?

Not for me. He's completed what he came here to do and now he can return to the golf course. Plus the 'down to the bare bones' comment's been sounded to death. Anybody would think we've got a team of skeletons. Mind you, given Nyland's freebie yesterday....

Re: Official RFC Clownovic Day. The protest thread

One of my main recollections was when quite a few of us went on the pitch at Elm Park having been trounced by Palarse, 6-0/6-1, something like that. Johnny Mad took the mike and promised us the world. And to be fair, compared to what we've got now, the bloke did alright

Two excellent posts right there from Vicky P. & Mr O. Not much to add really. Brentfud certainly know how to spot a decent forward, that's for sure. Fair play to the Bees though, who quite rightly deserve their moment in the sun 8)
