And the defence has improve immeasurably. No-one has scored in the league at Anfield since 24th Feb.

Could have sworn Salah's got a few

Oops! Corrected. :)

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

I don't think Liverpool will be too worried. They've come through a slightly silly run of games (Spurs, PSG, Napoli, Chelsea and Man City), with just one defeat. In between they disposed comfortably of Southampton. Sure, they'd have liked a couple more 5-0 wins, or for Salah to have a goal a game, b...

Re: Berks and Bucks Senior Cup 2018/19

Don't Panic Anyone got any idea when the 2nd round will be played?

Last week of October, apparently. Guy I know at Bracknell says 30th?

Re: ArsenaLOL

Was the Craven Cottage yesterday for the Arsenal game - Fulham an ideal opponent for them as they won't sit back and defend, but nevertheless Emery's side had a real attacking fluency, movement of Lacazette especially for impressive. Iwobi too - this guy is an absolute monster. Must be one of the qu...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

Old Man Andrews Has Mahrez's penalty ball come back down yet?

Felt for Jesus a bit. He came on and immediately looked the most threatening attacking player on the pitch, had a decent penalty shout turned down, and then gets stopped from taking the subsequent penalty awarded.

Re: England - the future....

You asked how much I have seen Fulham, the answer is a lot. What more did you want from that question? An explanation as to why (in your expert goalkeeping knowledge) Bettinelli should be 'nowhere near' the England squad. To the goalkeeping layman, he appears to be an excellent shot-stopper, comman...

Re: England - the future....

I like the squad, it is brave and progressive. Bettinelli has no business being near it though. How he is keeping Sergio Rico out at Fulham is beyond me. How much do you actually watch of Fulham? He is an excellent keeper. Their defensive problems this season have been first, having an entirely new...

Re: Will going down be a bad thing?

Yes, it would be a bad thing. The specific 'problem' we have is not quite that our players aren't good enough, and I'd argue that Stam's squad was even better, but that they are under-performing. In the event that we go down, they all leave, almost to a man. Does Bodvarsson stay and play in League ...

Re: Will going down be a bad thing?

Whether relegation hurts or helps you in the long run is 99% down to the finances of the club and owners. If they have the capacity and willingness to fund us whilst we're in League One it would probably be ok. You can say we have players that are too good for the league and will leave, but ask you...

Probably goes here. They're non-league now, but because of 1997, they're not. Right? Been idly reading this: https://jogamagazine.wordpress.com/2018/09/30/the-wretched-mire-of-chesterfield-a-look-at-the-most-miserable-team-to-support-in-england/ about Chesterfield. This gem popped up. Relations wit...

Re: The Manager Sack Race/Merry-go-Round

At the same time, Bruce brought in 5 loanees, 4 of which were attackers, whilst letting one of only 2 centre backs go out on loan. How do you know he let anyone go out on loan? I doubt very much if he had any say in the outgoings due to their financial issues. If that's true then why bring in 3 att...

Re: LOLiverpooLOL - Next Season

It was an observation that Tottenham got more critical coverage than Liverpool which I personally found odd, considering their defeat was arguably "worse". It's not a complaint, you just took it that way. I'm just not sure what the whole haughty demeanour is about, it's always puzzled me....

Re: England - the future....

As much as 'we didn't beat a big team' at the World Cup, that side that reached the SFs, who are all in the squad I think, is far from 'awful', it's a very good team. That's what I find exciting about these squads - that the likes of Winks and Sancho etc will be supplementing those players. I think ...

It was just an observation, nothing more. If it truly didn't matter, you didn't need to bulldoze your way into the thread to pick me up on it. Unless you enjoy doing that. I feel like you do. I didn't bulldoze anything, I just asked you a question. You're basically complaining because people aren't...

Cracking Stuttgart own goal. Defender takes a throw-in back to his keeper, who his tying his laces. Sees the ball, panics, gets a toe on it and it goes in. If he'd not touched it, it wouldn't have been a goal.

genome Sanguiners, are you capable of holding a conversation with someone without sounding snarky and disdainful?

You're worse than Ian Royal

Perfectly capable. Playing the victim is pointless. I asked you a question - you don't have to answer it.

We don't decide if the League Cup matters until we know who won it, woz the rulez, I thought.
