Exciting Transfers

Not wanting to pee on the news of any new additions to the squad but can you remember the last time that you got excited by the announcement of a signing? For me it's way back when Cureton joined.

Club wembley

Can't see any reference to the dress code should you decide to buy cat 2 tickets and get club wembley seats. You are not allowed to wear any colours and as far as I know the whole of that tier is not segregated. My mate has a 10 year debenture for Club Wembley seats but the play offs are not include...

Re: Have you ever been attacked at a game?

Hendon in the cup was my first away game. Got a bit nasty on the way back to the coaches. Thursday night game at Stockport, me and three mates made a unflattering comment about the area on the way back to the car only for some mental northern bloke aged about 60 who was out with his missus walking t...

Re: Reading fc fans

The frustrating thing for me is we were fed the line from Nicky Hammond that there would be little movement of players in until there had been a number of players leaving. Well Mr Hammond, the first half of your equation has happened what about the second?

not sure if it's true but Sky Sports are planning to drop their coverage of the SPl from next season. Apparently, the Disney Channel are showing an interest.

would this be the same brave freedom fighters who murdered and maimed innocent people in the name of some romantic notion that most of them would have trouble comprehending the facts about.

Even cheaper season tickets

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but how come a season ticket holder from last year who hasn't taken up their option for this year gets a phone call from the clubs marketing dept offering them up to 25% discount if they decide to renew before the weekend ??? Thought it was a wind up at f...

Re: Henry to Millwall

Am I in the minority in not giving a hoot what happens to Henry or any other player once they leave us? I have no great desire to see him have a great season at Millwall, why should we care? Will those supporters think the same if he turns it on against us and plays far better for them then he ever ...

Re: The Great season ticket swindle

problem is that if you don't look after your current season ticket holders the renewal uptake will be reduced so therefore the guaranteed income in May/June will be reduced leading to higher prices for all.

Season Ticket / pay as you go

I recently wrote to the club to complain about the amount of savings for non season ticket holders compared to the discount offers for us loyals who forked out good cash before a ball was kicked. They reckon that even with the two for one, cheap tickets and even the free ticket offer it is still a b...

long story but can anyone put a date to a testimonial we played at Elm Park against West Ham late sixties early seventies? Bobby Moore played and I think the West Ham coach was late arriving.

Thanks

Re: Championship Core

A bit concerned that so many of you are pinning your hopes on Henry. He will need to improve a hell of a lot as he couldn't get a sniff of a place in a poor Norwich side. Pearce on the other hand looks the part already.

Hendon 1 Reading 0. F.A.Cup in about 1975.We were heading for promotion that year but you would never have guessed from this shambles. Robin Friday was suspended and Gary Peters played upfront. Load of Tottenham hoolies there as they were playing up north somewhere. Reading 1 C.Palace 6. One of the ...

Re: Back from the game

a few questions: Why is our fully fit record signing not deemed even good enough to get into a team that not won this year? In a must win game, why have we got two centre backs but only one recognised striker on the bench? If a job description says "Defensive Coach" and you haven't kept a ...
