Re: BFTG Fleetwood shambles

After the capitulation at Charlton I left when the third went in and wondered is this rock bottom. Roll on Fleetwood and we roll over in the first minute. I left at half time to avoid the inevitable loss. We were completely outplayed by a team at the bottom of this league. We have a lot more to fal...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Charlton Athletic (a)

Not sure I can add much, we did ok in first half but didn't take any of the chances, then we leak a goal and collapse.

I left with the majority after the 3rd goal, like a full time mass exit. I'm getting sick of us being so shit every single game.

You'd have to throw them a Fairway to get anywhere near Bowen.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Northampton Town (a)

Button absolutely bloody awful this game. Lumley was awful too but turned it round quickly. I'd rather Button is also given the chance to turn things round. Think it always has to be about how their mental state is. Sometimes they deal with it and best thing is play next game. Sometimes they need a...

Who were the 2 people in the exec box in the centre front row? After the protest one of them left and didn't return until the second half.

BFTG - Burton

Well that was a terrible game that we should have won. Burton offered nothing but we weren't able to break them down. I have to think that we'd have won that without the protest. We played better at Blackpool but went in 3-0 down at HT, so I guess that's progress, but we really weren't on it today. ...

Re: another, another, yes another - you heard me right, another embargo 2023 for late PAYE payments

It has cost us 4 points and it's creating anxiety for staff living month to month with uncertainty. They all had to live with reports of issues this week, even if they are untrue. It's not a sustainable situation. But can see a counter argument that applying 4 points for late payments worth about 3...

Re: BFTG Blackpool

Well, sat at Preston Station. That started promising, went bad, went really bad and then fizzled out, probably for the best. Team seemed much more eager to put the ball forwards quickly than the last away games, which did not suit Ballard. Soft penalty, rightly given. Soft header for second. Very s...

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Forbury Lion I'm going to change the name of this thread to avoid confusion when the another embargo comes along and becomes the new embargo.

Can you fix "thants" while you're at it!

I'd say traffic there is incredibly busy for the size of the place, particularly around the M1 junctions, but the dual carriageways and ring roads work pretty well. The traffic queues around the ring road to the A45 but it moves steadily.

Although this sanction came this season it was based on contraventions last season, you have to wonder about the "integrity of the league" if we're hit with two sanctions unrelated to the current league we're in.

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

Reading Football Club can confirm that a suspended three-point penalty has been activated as a result of owner Mr Dai failing to deposit an amount equating to 125% of the club's monthly wage bill into a designated account by the deadline of Tuesday 12 September 2023, as ordered by the Independent D...

Re: BTFG Cambridge

One thing I will say about Cambridge (if any of their fans read this). I was impressed by the pace in their side on the wings. You showed us how to play with wingers. Clearly exploited Carson who I think needs to be dropped for a few games, not for much he's done wrong but feel like LB is a weak li...

Re: another, thants right another embargo for late PAYE payments - a new embargo

The only logic I could see to not playing Carroll, Holmes, McIntyre, NGW was that they were under contract and vaguely saleable. (Albeit their replacements looked better). So we must of needed to sell a player to fund this 125% wages account.

I fear the points deduction is incoming, again.

So are we in trouble after having failed to sell anyone during this transfer window?

I got the impression we needed to in order to pay wages AND the 125% wages.

BFTG - Exeter

Well that was disappointing, I thought first half we rode our luck and it was no surprise when Exeter took the lead, they could of had another. They used their wingers well and our full backs were left 2 on 1 all the time, their goal was another free header. I didn't really see much of the equaliser...
