Re: Club 1871

My opinion, fwiw, is that the club should move the family section back to where it was originally and have the singing section in the Eamonn Dolan Stand next season. Get some flags, banners and Club 1871 in to that end of the ground and make the North Stand a wall of noise. I can see your point, bu...

Re: Next Season's Squad

Can't see him staying either tbh. Doesn't come across as someone who could do it on a cold Tuesday up in Bradford. You're right on Watson, fitness is key and we just don't know yet on that front. Either way Gunter will go imo. There are far cheaper option on loan or perm. If he goes, it'd be on cos...

Re: Stam is doing this deliberately.

I believe Stam will go on to be a good manager, who plays attractive winning football. Just not with Reading. I have no problem with him using us a stepping stone either (95% of managers do this, the like of Jose, Wenger Guardioloa etc all had to start somewhere). I also believe Stam will learn fro...

Re: What was the single biggest mistake we made this season?

Cardiff at home, felt like this could have been the moment we kicked on had we won.

Also bad money management - Aluko had been an okay signing if we had a bigger money pot, but to spend 70% + of the budget on him looks stupid now.

Re: The more or less halfway poll

Think the next couple of weeks are massive in relation to where we finish... get 9 + points from the next 4 and play offs should still be the aim / be realistic

Mannone Bacuna Moore McShane Gunter VDB Kelly Swift Yann Barrow Jaakkola, Blackett, Richards, Edwards, Popa, Aluko, Smith Why would you start a 36 year old who hasn't competit...

Re: Mad Stad atmosphere rated 2nd worst in league

Can't say this has come as much of a surprise. As mentioned above out of town for away fans, the amount of away fans I see wondering around the ground looking for somewhere to drink. Saying that the outside bar area near the Jazz is good enough on a nice day. Atmosphere isn't great at the stadium so...

Some right tools on Twitter, most have been mentioned

Nath St Paul who is living off something he done a few years ago, but is the most negative person
Sir Dodger Royal - has to be a wind up account surely?
Jake Moore and his merry men - think they're top lads

Re: Does Reading FC do enough in/around town

I was in and around The Oracle last weekend before Wembley, and you wouldnt have known the club were a few days away from one of the biggest games in years! Works both ways IMO, thought a few shops would at least have a 'Good Luck Reading' banner in their window etc Totally agree. I remember in the...
