Re: #SellBeforeWeDai (to someone fit and proper)“ supporters action group

And there you go, as you said, its different for Reading. Expect little sympathy until this stance is removed. A van load of Pompey fans went to Bury to raise money on the way to a game several times. We had active fundraisers for Bolton and Bury just recently as well as 20 minutes of full on (Frat...

Do you think we need protest banners written in Chinese?

Might have more of an impact, particularly if the coverage goes global

windermereROYAL It`s over £84k now, how much does a statue cost for goodness sake?
Depends on size, probably cheaper for a statue of someone very short.

Re: Embargos, HMRC Payment defaults, non payment of wages, the usual under Dai Wrongge

Can't see how it would be. It doesn't qualify for ACV, so it'd be down to the planners to approve/deny a change of use application. Thanks, just asking as I think Reading had problems persuading the local council to let them develop the site even though it retained the site for sporting use. That'l...

They give him a deadline or the club is expelled. Can't own a Football League Club, if the club isn't in the Football League. But in that instance, surely it accelerates the route to liquidation? If you have all the assets of a football club but nowhere for them to play, why not just get rid of the...

Miscellaneous Chinese Superstitions When giving gifts in China, it is imperative that you never give someone a clock. This is due to the fact that “giving a clock” sounds similar to “bid farewell to someone on their deathbed”. As such, giving someone a clock basically means you’re sending them off ...

Chinese Superstitions with Colors The color white is known as one of the unluckiest Chinese colors because it is associated with mourning and loss. You will oftentimes see Chinese people wearing white to funerals. The color green can also be considered to be unlucky as it is associated with infidel...

Chinese Superstitions with Numbers The number 4 is the unluckiest Chinese number because it sounds like the word for “death”. Many buildings in China don’t have a 4th floor; some skip any floors with the number, such as 14, 24, 34 and all 40–49 floors. Therefore, many people choose to avoid the num...

I'm not referring to FFP breaches, I'm talking about the fact that they approved his ownership in the first place, even though EPL had rejected him and there were already red flags raised about the way he conducted business. The bar for ownership may have been set extremely low at the time but that...

neither player is going to turn down these opportunities. Unless it's beneficial to stay until the end of the season, not sure when they're out of contract but could potentially negotiate a better deal leaving on a free/tribunal determined fee. Also worth noting that for academy grown players there...

We got time on TalkSport. Why is Simon Jordan allowed to issue his stupid opinions on matters such as this, given he led Palace into administration? Jesus....Jordan is odious. Accusing the fans of being happy at the time Dai was pissing money up the wall on players. I seem to remember everyone on h...

Re: Did the protest do what it intended?

In the circumstance, I hope they ask for the game to be replayed - EFL love to stay how they want league positions to be earnt on the pitch, so handing a result to Vale would go against this. So it'll probably happen. For the sake of the Port Vale fans, if it is rearranged and Reading fans are allo...

NathStPaul Did this really require a new thread?
More threads = More publicity?
Like someone at SkySports saying "Does this really require a new discussion?"

I agree we need to protest I'm not against a pitch invasion and leaning towards agreeing with it I'm not in favour protests causing match abandonments I respect those who felt this course of action was required and took action accordingly I work for a Chinese owned company and everyone is talking ab...

Got the Reading position spot on right now, should be bonus points for that, although hoping we climb the table between now and the end of the season.

Snowflake Royal Was talking about this in the pub with friends. They were all 100% Reading are bigger than Bury. None are Reading fans.

You'd have to be a loon to think they were bigger than we are.
I assume this was a pub in Reading and not a pub in Bury?

Pretty contradictory with other reports. First, we know he paid HMRC last month. Why do that if you don't care? And now the rumour is he has moved the goalposts on the sale. That's not the actions of someone disinterested. If someone offers you £30m for something you don't care about, you just acce...

I think the lesson here is that STAR need to be on board with any future fund raising from the start with clear guidance issued as to what the donations will be used for with the logistics worked out long before any money is donated.
