Re: Injury watch 2021/22

18 months ago I’d agree

I thought he looked really poor this season tbh. Admittedly certain things didn’t help him

Re: Injury watch 2021/22

I would say this summer is the last chance for Moore to make a decent move i.e. to a decent Championship side, so he may well be inclined to make it happen. If he stays and essentially sits out a year then the options for a then 30 yo CB with known injury issues will be limited even as a free trans...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Hendo People again complaining on twitter how much we're celebrating a goal. Get fucked.

Hendo you really are better than worrying about what gets said on Twitter

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Just on another note, I can't believe how poor Barnsley were in truth. I know that doesn't reflect well on us because we didn't win but for some better quality finishing/creativity in the final third as well as maybe a refereeing decision or two going our way instead of against us, we'd have come a...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Quick count up of results this season, hopefully counted correctly Record when Ejaria has started 7 wins, 4 draws, 6 defeats. 25 points from 17 games - basically 1.5 points a game Record when he hasn’t started 22 games, 15 points. I’m sure it’s not a coincidence And none of those hammerings came wh...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Stoke City (h)

Zip I do think Drinkwater is considerably fitter now than he was a few months ago.
He looked out on his feet so often in the first half of the season.

Think that’s true of most of the team. Big tick in the plus column for Ince imo

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Additional to your points i don’t disagree that his game hasn’t progressed (not the original argument who suggested previous managers hadn’t got him to play) and agree he doesn’t create enough. But I do think he does a lot of unseen defensive work, is probably the one chap most likely to hold up the...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

All that does is show you can't trust those ratings Evidence goes against your beliefs? Evidence must be wrong. Gareth Keenan and his calculator would be proud. Ok I'm certain you're trolling now. Another good game for him and literally the bottom of the list when it comes to talking points y...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Seems like Ejaria starting has coincided with an upturn in our form. Either he isn’t marked, changes the game and we score, like the other game. Or he attracts lots of markers and opens up the midfield for the rest of the team. This has been blatantly obvious for months yet we’re still back to knoc...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Yep the process and choice of signing him might not have been ideal But we have pretty tight restrictions. No fee and 8.5k a week on paper looked a cracking deal for him. And he hasn’t been awful overall, just a bit underwhelming really Attitude seems ok on the pitch and he’s basically managed to st...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Tired of this conversation but the idea that previous managers have got little out of Ejaria is absolute nonsense Again don’t want to say whoscored is the absolute authority but it had him in the top 20 players in the entire division 2 years running. And that was in a far from brilliant reading side...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Barnsley (a)

Drinkwater was pretty good in our last two games as well

Booing him is moronic. And he’s experience and ability could be crucial in the next few weeks

Obvs not been a roaring success but he hasn’t been awful by any stretch
