Re: BFTG BIrmingham.

Yep very disappointing and doubly so being as it was my first time at the ground for 9 months Birmingham were excellent in the first half. Really stopped us playing and looked dangerous themselves. Second half they stopped playing, sat back and resorted to shithousing. They really were there for th...

Re: BFTG BIrmingham.

We were poor but we have to give Brum credit, I thought they were superb from the first minute and didn't let us settle at all for the first 25mins. Frustrating that in the 5 mins before their opener, it felt like we were coming into the games and turning the tide but it was a tidy finish, that was ...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Birmingham City (h) sponsored by an utter shambles

Yep. Defeat not terminal but potentially losing our main goal threats could be.

Not a good night. If Joao had scored the pen, think we win that. Instead, well ouch.

Re: Rival Watch

Can see Cardiff being right up there. I'm not convinced Harris is a good enough manager tbh Not sure they will make the play-offs again this year but the fact they did last year was a lot to do with Harris as they were struggling a bit under Warnock. Next 4 games are big for them - Welsh Derby with...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

I don't think Solskjaer's results are as bad as that. They beat PSG too in their CL group. And following the return to football last season they beat City and Chelsea. It's hard to argue too with nine consecutive away wins, whoever the opponents. United's problem is one of consistency. Yep this rea...

Re: Rival Watch

Cardiff four wins on the bounce including wins at Watford and Stoke in their last two. Our win at the CCS is beginning to look like a very good result. It does indeed. A lot of people were putting our early position down to just beating the poor teams in the division and Cardiff were seen as one of...

Re: Rival Watch

Yep, crazy tight. We win tomorrow, guaranteed top 2. Top if Norwich fail to win.

Draw will put us 5th, defeat could see us 7th.

Re: Norwich game

With the next announcement of Tiers due the same day as the match, I assume if Reading slips into Tier 3 on that day that the game will be fine re fans, as there will likely be a delay in the change coming in.

Re: Season 20/21

Any source on WBA looking at him? Or just OMA?

Anyway wouldn't surprise me if clubs are looking but would be surprised if he walked out at this stage. A lost play off could see him move on if the chance is there but not going to worry about that.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

Reading does have a lot of transient residents who have moved there for work and probably only stay for a few years before moving elsewhere or settle but already have ties to somewhere else and obviously support another club as a result. If they settle though, then their kids could well be tempted t...

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

"Big" in most cases just means were successful at some undefined point in the past. In 20 or 30 years time, quite possible that we could be seen as a big club, if we are long term settled in the top flight and won a couple of things whilst Forest could still be bouncing around the Champ/L...

Quite mad that despite just taking 1pt from 33, 2 wins probably sees them out of the bottom 3. Bottom 4 really are awful this season.

Re: Opposition fans back from the game

How are they pissed off with their owners? Some big names in their team today. Because they have a habit of giving long contracts to players over 30. See Arter as an example, about to turn 31 and signed in the summer on big wages for 3 years. Seem to be following a similar recruitment path as we di...

WoodleyRoyal depends in the big guns ala real madrid barcelona dortmund rumours are true. if they are serious we could be looking at some seriously big bids

Well Barca are broke, so think we can forget any big bids from them. Could see Dortmund testing the water.

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (h) sponsored by Neil Webb

Comfortable performance, looked fully in control and stayed in 2nd gear, as didn't need to do anything else. 8pts from 12 is a superb return following that run of 4 defeats. To think we would be top if we hadn't collapsed at Bournemouth. We would be a point clear if it wasn`t for Oliver fcuking Lan...

Re: We're ManchesteROFL United, we do what we want

I think if they scrape through against Leipzig (fortunately for Man Utd not as strong as before) he will keep his job. If they end up in the Europa League I suspect he will be gone. As I said, I personally hope that he stays and that they remain erratic because with what they have spent already and...
