Pure speculation but maybe he can help get Stefanos Kapino in during the summer, if Andersen and Taylor are off....

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

Sunzu should have waited – Renard By IGNATIUS MAZEKO - CHIPOLOPOLO coach Herve Renard has said defender Stoppila Sunzu has been rushed to settle for English Premier League relegation fighting side Reading because money has proved to be more important in African soccer than planning a player’s caree...

ESPN and Ladbrokes both saying he's Valencia bound.

Seems no one knows, even his agents.

Re: Noel Hunt - Contract

Provides excellent support to our strikers at Championship level and what he had appeared in the Premier League so far, good at hold up and has a history of making our other strikers appear better than they may actually appear when he supports them. Brings a lot to the club behind the scenes too by ...

Re: RUMOUR - Iago Aspas

Royal91 hypothetically if we were to smash our transfer record. I would prefer it to be on a number 10 than a striker.

I know very little of him, but I'm sure I've seen that he's equally comfortable as either?

Re: On Trial - Stoppila Sunzu

Zambia happy for Sunzu Zambia say they are happy with the opportunity for their key defender Stopilla Sunzu to go to Reading this week, even though he is a key component of their squad for the African Nations Cup finals. The centre back travelled to London at the weekend for a trial with the Premie...

Re: Reading v WBA - Match thread sponsored by "Sean" Long

ZacNaloen I actually think that was Carrico for us in the first half, after they scored we spent ten minutes doing a swansea which he orchestrated.

I'm excited to see him play once he's properly match fit and sharp. He looked off the pace but had a touch of class about him.

Re: If we service the strikers....

Have to admit I'm warming to Pog. It's taken a while but he is playing with his head up, he looks confident, and he looks happy and settled into the team and like he actually wants to be here / cares... love the emotion from him when he scored and how happy the entire team were for him. What a finis...

Re: Reading v WBA - Match thread sponsored by "Sean" Long

Well, this is unusually populous for us. And blue.

The difference between the our box and centre circle is particularly noticeable. Seems the defenders and deeper lying midfielders upped their game there.

Re: RFC Unsung Heroes X1

Another vote for De La Cruz here. Would also add: Andy Griffin - Maybe not completely unsung and I know he had a mare in the play off final, but the way he helped change the team's attitude and approach after a terrible first half of 2009/10 cannot be underestimated. Chris Makin - The unsung hero o...

Re: Alex Pearce

There's no way Morro is better than Pearce. But he has potential to be. His positioning and decision making is sometimes very suspect. Although he's quality on the ball and an aerial threat he did cost us quite a few goals during his run in the side. The experience of Pearce alongside Mariappa has m...

id love that him and shorey return to make up for the fact they basically sent us down in 07/08 Harsh on Sidwell Brenders. Of anyone who has let his contract run down Sidwell did his best inthe circumstances. Could ask for no ore than that. Shorey is more on the money. I blame Scott Brown. Him reje...
