Re: Relegation

I blame Stam entirely as well. But that includes making a poor change on the coaching side. It’s all under his management

Re: Relegation

Still think Reid leaving has left a big hole in the managerial team and one that sadly Gilkes has not filled adequately... ...would love to know the real reason he "left", considering he did so with no job in the pipeline.. For me, I think there was a difference of opinions between him an...

Re: Relegation

So did Sunderland and look way they are....If you really think changing the manager now will stop us getting relegated your delusional..We will need at least 10 points from 24...Even Pep couldnt get the squad to do that in what will be roughly 6 weeks I reckon a new manager, lining up with somethin...

Re: Relegation

The players and manager are playing without spirit, changing Stam in my opinion will make little difference, there is obviously some serious trouble at board/owner level....The lack of information and silence speaks volumes. The facts are Stam isn't a bad manager as proven last season, the players ...

Re: Relegation

FFP is a lame excuse. Like I said elsewhere, we are paying his wages next year anyway. Only new wage being added is a new manager, which I’m sure we could push into next seasons accounts and pay off with Binning a few players

Re: Relegation

One thing in our favour is we look like scoring when we go forward.

As Leon said, we must keep clean sheets. If we can, then I’d back us to win the game every time

Re: The Academy/Development squads watch thread 2015//16

Novakovich called up to the USA squad. Well done to him

With Kelly back to last seasons form, and Richards and Smith making a decent impression, the academy lads are proving about the only bright spot this season

Re: Relegation

Snowball we have the hardest run in of any of the sides at the bottom. Brum have the easiest. I feel they will finish above us. I reckon Burton and Sunderland will drop so it will be between us and Barnsley. That’s why when we have been drawing games at home recently against out of form sides our c...

More like

Pretty much.

He will say...

"But we are 3 points ahead plus 14 goals so really thats 6 points"

Lord give me strength.

If Birmingham win 1 and draw 1 we will be bottom 3 in the next 2 games.

Depends on what Barnsley do

Re: The reason we're stuck with Stam

£2.5m termination clause to get back on topic? Mayb that explains the apathy .. Errr yes? FFP... But surely we are paying his wage anyway next year? Obvs we’d have to take the new managers wages into account but I’m sure it could be moved into next seasons wages or similar And obvs we try to flog s...

Re: Relegation

Way I see it is Stam is not going to win us another game this season. Another manager might

Now a gamble worth taking

Re: The reason we're stuck with Stam

Negotiable though surely?

It’s time to start negotiating if so

He is clearly not short of a few quid from his playing days. Play hardball on this and his managerial career may be very short indeed

Re: Relegation

Yep pats on the back all round for Leon, DD, strap and co I’ll be honest, I thought there was no way we’d go. Esp after that period before Xmas when we showed we could win games and win games well I couldn’t foresee with the players we have going on such a diabolically shit run as we have and happy ...

Re: Worst Team / Worst Manager ever

I’ve been banging on for months that this team was going to end up like Bullivants side. It has no leaders, no organisation, no discernible tactual plan, no consistent team selection, no balance. For a team that doesn’t lack talent and has got a track record of achievement this entire shambolic sea...

Re: Back from the game - Norwich

Thanks for the report

Just watched the goals of SS - first two were so basic

Norwich did seem to have quite a few ither decent efforts in the second half. Only showed our goals as highlights (good goal from Smith)

Isn't the stadium built on land??

Yeah a couple of hundred metres square. Not going to build a lot on that

No idea - just usual paranoid nonsense. There are miles of much cheaper easier to obtain land all up the A33
