Re: BFTG Forest (A)

one thing I thought with the passing - I didn't think the pitch was brilliant - as you'd expect in the middle of February I do wonder about the logic of spending 5 days training on what were no doubt pristine pitches in the south of Spain, when they are pretty much nothing like the conditions you ar...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

its been his big problem all season. When he stays out wide, as Barrow does, he looks quite effective. He is an awful CM though, which is where he seems to take himself

But the effort levels were definitely vastly improved

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Denver Royal's arrogance and holier than thou attitude aside he has a point. Our first half display was very good in comparison to how it has been in recent games and naturally the players reverted to type in the second half under extreme pressure from Forest who are a team that has a lot of qualit...

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

I didn't think it was embarrassing - Forest played ok, despite what the noise is on here. They passed it crisply and pressed us hard. We didn't cope especially well, but they kept battling and on the basis of the first half performance prob deserved a point I've seen some utterly abysmal performance...

Re: Reading v Derby prediction thread

Actually thought the Forest game was entertaining.

Would take a repeat of that (with obvs a better result) on Saturday

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

TBH we can’t keep losing at home. 4 in a row at the moment isn’t it? It will change at some point surely

Re: BFTG Forest (A)

OP seems a fairer reflection of the game than a lot on the other thread 2 points dropped being as we were 1 up, but Forest would have felt hard done by if they’d lost I thought we looked a lot more positive and aggressive. Obvs we were far from perfect, the passing was poor at times, but not a disas...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

I’ve got to be honest, I didn’t think we did that badly. Forest were obvs well up for it and looked an ok team to me When we did attack we dd try to make things happen and had a few shots and chances. I didn’t think we were negative or insipid like against Millwall, Brum etc Thought it was an entert...

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Gunter was out of position but got back goal side

Fcuk knows where the covering midfielder was who left Tomlin on his own though

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Anyone else think Forest actually looked pretty good?

Nope? Just me then :)

Would have been disappointed with a draw before the game and obvs at 1-0 up but we didn’t deserve anymore

We tried hard and had a few good bits of play but were well outplayed in that 2nd half

No real complaints tbh

Re: MATCHWATCH : Nottingham Forest (a) sponsored by things can only get better

Hmm, hit the link and in the space of 30 secs see them hit the post, have one cleared off the line and the Joey? Fall over with the ball at his feet on the edge of the area

Might switch back off
