It was as clear as day to anyone watching that Tabb needed to come off as soon as they got their first goal. Get Hunt or Pog off play Guthrie in the middle with Karacan (who I think played ok considering he had no partner), maybe also bring HRK on and have Mcanuff in the middle. Let Guthrie have a bit of the ball and slow things down. But no, bring on two strikers (who played ok as well tbf) and clear every ball as far as the eye can see, Swansea just come back at us all the time. And Tabb in the middle of it all. The worst performance from a Reading player in the midfield imho since Bryn against Portsmouth when we went down four years ago.

Beware all, Tabb is not good enough whatsoever. It's almost as if Brian was punishing Guthrie for the twitter outburst. When I heard about it I was disappointed with Guthrie but it's the premier league. Brian needs to learn fast about this whole topflight business. No wonder Copps hated it.

So we got a point, but please learn your lessons Brian, we can't play like that in future and hope to stay up!

Tabb looked like a five year old out there. Or an u-12 footballer playing against u-16 and that's not just about his height. He was lost out there.

We have one, but he's been told to stop creating time and space in the middle of the park, stop dictating the pace, and play direct long balls. He's currently out of the team to teach him a lesson for saying very little wrong on Twitter...

Exactly. Bryn is taking up a place in the 25, along with Tabb, when for <£1m we could sign a decent DM anyway
