Why are we so inconsistent

Because we've got a poorly balanced team full of players who aren't quite good / experienced enough. And we've not got any basis of form to have built from.

That would be a reason for why we are rubbish Shirley. But we're not, we're inconsistent - is it a lack of belief/confidence? Surely we'd be pumped after the weekend?

Rubbishness is inconsistency. Only truly atrocious teams lose most weeks.

Horrific - special mention for Chalobah who put in the worst performance I have ever seen from any player at the Madejski - gave the ball away with every pass, missed two sitters, and was turned every single time by their players. Other farcical performances included the likes of Obita, Norwood, McCleary and even Federici. Shambolic and embarrassing.

stat site says 44% pass accuracy. That's poor for a goalkeeper!

Likely just my poor memory, but the two good wins involved excellent second half performances....... that included Chalobah going off.

I think the better second halves come from SC's negative
play-safe tactics to begin with. He seems to want to get to the
hour-mark 0-0 or having sneaked a goal.

I think that's fine away from home but I prefer home teams to go for it from the first minute
