Interesting to see we've only let both young keepers out for a month to start with.

Did we do that with them last season, or were they on season long deals from the off?

Makes sense to me. If Fed is sold before the end of the window we will have recourse to recall either. I don't think that either were on all season loans last year but my memory is not as good as it was.

Well it would lead credence to suggestions that there may be interest in Feds or Hamer, or at the very least covers us in case one is sold. I really think we need to cash in on one of them, just to use the money for a CB

Do they allow special dispensation to make a recall during the first month of loan, or is it a non-avoidable rule?

I've dug out the details of their loans last season, and McCarthy initially went from July to Jan, then it was extended a couple of times.

Andersen was similar, although he didn't actually go to Rovers until September anyway.

In Sept we don't play until Sept 11th in any case so if Fed went near the deadline we can recall both on loan keepers before we next play as they are only on one month initial loans.

Much as I think it would be a risk letting Fed go I have to say with three young keepers in the squad - who all look good - if we could get say £1.5 to £2M for him and reinvest this in a good CB then I would definitely think this is a good move.

Since when have Jack Mills and Michael Hector been on loan at Oxf*rd City?

Harry Harding on loan there too. Anyone see them against Windsor and Eton on Tuesday?

Their loans were posted on the OS on 19 August.

Hamer to Brentford, McCarthy returns.

Also, I was speaking to someone connected with Oxford yesterday. It would appear that they were intertested in taking Bignall on loan for 3 months, but the player's agent wanted a guaranteed starting place for his client, which OUFC could obviously not do.
