City or Villa

by NR_Royal » 02 Mar 2011 00:54

Would personally rather have City, just for the LOLs. Reckon City are more likely to screw up against us than Villa, and I really don't want another raping from them. Also it's a lot cheaper for me to get to. :?

Matt Mills and Ian Harte vs Tevez and Dzeko. Phwoar.

I can see Villa Park from my kitchen window... Havent seen Reading much this season because of Uni, so a home away game would be good!

Citeh's upcoming fixtures:

2nd WED Villa (H)/FAC5R
5th SAT Wigan (H)/PL
10th THU Dynamo Kyiv (A)/UEL
13th SUN Reading (H)/FAC6R :?:
17th THU Dynamo Kyiv (H)/UEL
20th SUN Chelsea (A)/PL
25/26 FRI/SAT Internationals
29 TUE Internationals

It has been reported elsewhere herein that if a replay w/Villa is needed, it would be played on Monday the 7th, but I haven't succeeded in confirming this

Villa's next scheduled match is on Saturday (Bolton away), and they wouldn't play again until the 19th absent a replay and/or advancing to the quarterfinals

After beating Premier League team Everton at Goodison in the FA Cup fifth round, we will face either Manchester City or Aston Villa in the quarter finals on Sunday 13rd March, kick off 4:45pm, live on ESPN.

Manchester City host Villa in the fifth round on Wednesday 2nd March. If we face Villa it would be a repeat of last season's quarter final when we lost 4-2 at Madejski Stadium.

Ticket news and pricing for Royals fans will be confirmed after the City/Villa tie is decided. If City and Villa require a replay, it would take place on Monday 7th March, and we would not be able to sell tickets before we know who we are facing in the quarter finals.

As a result of our progession to the fifth round, our npower Championship home game with Preston North End has been postponed. A new date will be confirmed in due course.

Has Mansour promised them a holiday, or have the Russians re-annexed Kijov?

who cares who it is, Manset will monster their defenses, with his beast-like qualities!

Oh and hopefully Morrison is fit so he can make the bench.

Not certain about Morrison, but Manset will definitely not play - cup tied.

Oh, I'd prefer a chance to pay Villa back for last season but the temptation of that fixture list is too much too ignore - its got to be City.

Team Board Hat Trick.

Big time... I must admit, I didn't expect it to be prostak. He is cleverer than that.

Unless he is doing a sneaky woosh on us?

Has to be City, a club that thinks it deserves success due to how much it spends, well feck right off.

They need a doing over and failing yet again.

Are they stupid or what "fifth round"... try the sixth round of the FA Cup for the second year running with RFC and one game from a semi final appearance at Wembley

Villa, simply as I think we could beat Villa, whereas I'd expect City to be the standard easy 2 or 3-0 home win.

Either will be tricky but last year's game against Villa was close and it'd be good to have the rematch.

Leyton Orient v Reading at final.

2-0 up at half time doesnt sound like a raping, in fact we raped them in the 1st half!

Villa

PROS -
Not as good as last year when we ran them close.
Have got rid of Carew.
Built team around Bent who is cup tied,
CONS
None.

City
PROS -
Must play away in Kiev on thursday before the game
Potential replay v villa would be on the Monday, meaning we would be 4th game in 8 days.
Likely to rest Tevez
Ballotelli won't fancy it.

CONS
None.
