A look at the season as a whole and why all things considered, maybe this season has gone exactly as we should have expected.

Thought I'd just flag this one up, nice little piece on whether social media/the internet is making us all smarter as football fans, or just making us follow the crowd.

I put some words up about this season and why we missed out on our goals.

Part 1 of a three-parter looking at Alfie and where he might fit into a top 20 strikers list of the past 20 years.

http://thetilehurstend.sbnation.com/201 ... ers-part-1

As a teaser I'll just say that the 20-15 spots on that list get pretty ugly but 15-1 is surprisingly tough.

Also, we look back at the season's player of the match votes, and there's a few surprises on the list.

You're right about 20-15. Manset, Doris & Church?
Wot no Bas Savage? Or is he in the top 10 with Brayson?

It really has been grim over the past 20 years when you take out the best, 1-15 not so bad but really did struggle to round out those final few places :D

*bump*

If you've not been to The Tilehurst End in a while or have never heard of us (more likely) then it's a good time to pop back.

We've got plenty of content going up daily and we're adding new features all the time.

Here's our presentation so far for the Sheffield Wednesday game.

Our oppoisition fan previews are always (at least in my opinion) one of the most interesting on the site but today's one from Brentford includes some great stories and thoughts from the lads from Beesotted.

Also if you're in to your stats and charts etc, we've launched a stats desk recently that have been putting out some great content. Here's their thoughts from the Leeds game.

Not strictly related to the team now but Roy Keane reveals he only lost his cool once ( ) and that was against Reading in 2007.

Sounds like either a misunderstanding or Dillon was being a massive oxf*rd.

I am fairly sure you can assume Keane was being a little bit antagonistic, regardless of what he says in his book.

Keane obviously feels that it would go against his hard man reputation to admit how he really exited that office.
