It was definitely a penalty but Gunter didn't trip him up. Hazard saw the leg and therefore went over it as it was the best chance of getting a goal. It's gamesmanship. He could have easily stayed on his feet if he so wished.

I grew up watching football in the 90s when the change started (am 29) and it would have been a decent shout towards the end of the decade back then. By today's standards, there's no question. We've all seen far softer given on a regular basis.

Disagree, the replays clearly showed that Gunter's trailing leg took Hazard's leg from under him. Hazard knew what he was doing, but it was a trip.
