maffff I honestly believe he could be the next Austin/Rhodes, with regular games. Good player.

Can you be the next whoever if you're older than them?

Austin has scored more goals in the past 2 months than Church has in the past 2 years.

I've always had faith in Church, and stuck up for him over the years. He's repaid me by being consistently shit, so he can do one.

yeah hes not been great since his dad died and best m8 left the club

but he was improving, and hada decent season before that, and even scored a few last year, if most of them were tap ins off his shin
love his attitude, and really wanted him to succeed here, but i hope the loan works out for him either way

good luck churchy

Terminal Boardom Good luck to the lad. Hopes he scores a bucket load, comes back, and propels us into Europe. Maybe then some of the idots on here will acknowledge that people inside football know more than people outside football.

Those same people inside football that haven't really given him a game this year and replaced him with Roberts as soon a little bit of money became available.

I don't think Church will ever be a consistently prolific goalscorer, but he'll do a reasonable job as a willing worker for a mid table Championship side. It seems that those inside football largely agree with that too.

Confirmed 1 month loan deal. Not sure if that is as long as I would have liked. Would have preferred to see him have a really long sustained run in a team.

In any event, I wish him luck.

Go on Churchy turn on the goals for 'Uddersfield and let's see several on here eating their words (though, of course, apparently it won't count for anything as it's only Division 2).

Could you give me a breakdown of the drugs you are taking please? If Lionel Messi arrived in December it is extremely doubtful that he would propel us in to Europe, so how on God's earth would someone who only excels at dodge ball be able to do so? I don't doubt his work rate but at the same time I don't doubt my work rate as 45 year old slow bowler for Oakley 2nd's. However, I do accept that it is highly unlikely that I will be brought in to propel England to a historic victory in India.

We all have our place and Church's is in the lower echelons of league football.

I could be wrong but I think 1 month is the maximum term that can be agreed at this moment in time?

Royals-lad14
sandman Church is a player who has shown plenty of promise but struggles with confidence which means he's not helped when his own fans are constantly on his back.

Good luck to the lad, always works his socks off and gets important goals off the bench. Hope he does well at Huddesfield and then comes back to us in great form and assists our survival..

Poor bloke not kicked a ball yet.

This feels a bit like finding out that your Ferrari has a dodgy clutch and getting a Ford Fiesta as a replacement

Yeah 'poor Church' and all that, but equally it's a realistic assessment. Rhodes got 40 goals last season, Church has 29 in his entire career.
