Back From The Game. Southampton Away

Totally spineless performance. Void of tactics and desire. Nobody played well against a struggling team.

Clueless. Inept. etc, etc. If they are getting paid Premier wages, then they must be able to step up a gear!!!! They couldn't even play the easy pass, kept hoofing it forward and loosing the ball. We need other midfield players now.

I can deal with getting beat because we lack any quality and creativity but I can't accept the manner in which we lost....

No point getting rid of McDermott as we're going to need his experience in the championship next season.

So, if he gets us promoted again to the Prem, would you want the club to sack him?

Yet another "must not lose game" and yet another loss. Not quite sure how the team talks go, but I can't believe how many times we seem to just fold in after going behind this season. Any squad harmony and belief has vanished, this team seems to know it doesn't belong, and don't have any sort of belief to change it.

Unfortunately you can never be sure with some of our RTG fans. I think there are some who would be quite happy for us to be relegated to league 2 with Brian in charge.

Genuinely disgusted by that. No quality on show from any player at any point in that match. 2500 travelling let down by clueless tactics, clueless players, and clueless substitutions.

Too angry to write anything rational, so I'll leave it at this:

McDermott out

Yeah it was a poor performance. I did the tv equivalent of leaving with 15 minutes to go.

First half wasn't so bad but the second really highlighted out lack of quality in midfield. Jay Tabb gave it a good go but generally we were bobbins.

Didn't think much of Southampton either tbh but second half we made them look okay, which took some doing.

Demoralising slog. Never looked remotely threatening.

Crikey, if the gaffer thinks we have enough to stay up he will need to change the incense burner's scent fairly sharpish.
