110% go now... hes not doing his reputation any favours by staying. Everything he built last year he is losing now. We might still go down, but at least he'll have his dignity and we can rebuild with a different approach. Best for both parties.

After Sunderland I said sack him but I've had a think since then and, unless a proper transfer budget is provided, no-one will do any better.
Our entire budget is less than most Championship clubs - even Mourinho or Guordiola couldn't do anything with that - and they'd probably take most of it in wages!

Do we have to have this every single bloody game? Its a little disrespectful tbh.

What a f*cking boring season this is turning out to be, one way or another. Worst since 98/99.

Go. But he'll not go after this result if he didn't go after Sunderland. And if he doesn't go after this result he won't go after we're dicked by City. Which means we've got him 'til Swansea. And I'm not sure I see him getting the elbow in the couple of days before West Ham. Then it's only a couple of days and a trip to Spurs.

So sacked after Spurs make it 10 defeats on the bounce. Dolan takes charge for Crawley.

Keep. He's the future, and will get us back up again. Now that he's experienced the PL he'll know what's required. I think, this season, we've just massively underestimated the quality of this league.

Go, but resign and go with your head held high.

The fans are turning. It'll be a shame to see it get personal.

I've not seen any evidence that suggests he knows what's required - his tactics are still woefully inept. What makes you think he'll get it right another time?

I think the only person who's underestimated the quality of this league was McD. I'm pretty sure most of the posters on here had a good idea it would be pretty tough....... Just an example of his managerial qualities.......

His abysmal performance this season would have led to a lynch mob after him at any other club.

He is only spared that because of his long affinity with RFC and his past achievements. However, if things carry on as they are that will quickly start to count for far less and the crowd will start to turn on him.

He should admit defeat (dress it up however he likes) and resign with some dignity now whilst everyone still has some respect and affection left for him.

How do you know what our entire budget is? And even if true, that makes his (mi)use of it over the summer even more culpable.

No excuse for tactical naivety. When you are struggling, you set up the starting 11 to be competitive. They are about as competitive as a creme brulee. Go now, go quietly and with dignity but it is time to go.

Becuase he's done it before. He's changed things round every single season after christmas, and this will (imo) just be over a longer timescale.
