I didn't know Steve Morrow ever played for Reading. Did yu attend that game, Kes, or is the ticket stub your old mans? £8 was an adult ticket.

Yes, he was on loan to Reading from Arsenal. I think it was the same season that he played in the League Cup final and had his collarbone broken when Tony Adams threw him to the floor in celebration.

If I knew how to upload a photo is take one of the signed shirt from the Simod cup victory, handed down from my father. Also have a shirt from when I was a mascot signed by mick gooding and jimmy Quinn. Speaking of which who was the last known player/manager

Also have a copy of every home programme from 1990-2000 if any one is interested in them.

I think that was 2 seasons later

Check out those 70s coiffures! Remember most of that team well - Les Chappell was a quality finisher

My old mini bar where Reading FC memorabilia and booze sat appropriately alongside souvenirs from Communist China and the Third Reich.

Brilliant stuff! They look like the same photos from the EP that I still have, but have not seem two of them before. From the Chronicle? Especially like the keeper's despairing dive for The Goal.
