Well, I expected that to be as naff as basically every other song written on the subject of football but I was very pleasantly surprised. You've somehow managed to capture the low-key, self-deprecating nature of Reading FC/Elm Park before the days of Rumblestix, Sea of Scarves and Pizza at half time. You've even got the droning Reading accent down to a tee. Excellent stuff, I'd love for the club to play that before a game but sadly as it contains a light-hearted reference to shooting a Robin there is more chance of Sara Jacob performing a striptease in the centre circle.

Yeah that was amazing. I remember the bouncewatch in Southbank. My dad was in North stand seats and he watched me go into Tilehurst. I promised I wouldn't go in the Southbank but we always managed to blag our way past that gullible steward on the access gate, managing to get back round to the Spread in time for dad. Those were the days......
