The Poison Chalice of Relegation is becoming a media storm of failed communication, speculation, clarity from the club, a failed game of musical chairs and can the last person please switch off the light. It would be laughable if it wasn't this club we were all talking about.

Paul Jewell and Roy Keane are available or we could have a try for Blackpool's manager as they seem easy to get. Of course there's always Michael Appleton - and what's Graeme Souness doing these days?

What a mess this is.

We may well follow in the footsteps of Wolves, Blackburn, Bolton, Coventry, Sheffield Utd and others who have struggled when relegated if this is not sorted out quickly.

Royal Lady Allegedly, he's staying at Brighton...so will Adkins take it knowing that a) he's second choice and b) he forfeits any compo from his sacking from Saints?

How's Schards amazing 66/1 bet going?

60 on betfair actually.

Jesus m8, if you think backing someone at 60's who turns out to be the clubs number one choice is a bad move, I would question your judgement.

It surprises me that at no point do the club ask the opinions of the fans before sacking or hiring managers.

We have an almost bottomless supply of experience about these things.

( head scratching emoticon )

All this stuff about Adkins losing out on compensation from Saints if he takes a job with us is complete and utter nonsense!

You can't strengthen your claim for compensation for loss of employment by deliberately turning other job opportunities down, particularly when those job opportunities are being discussed throughout the media! The Saints legal team would be immediately pointing this out in any legal proceedings/negotiations.

I'll say it again here, there is a massive difference between Conner and Dolan in the sense that Dolan is a fresh broom with the first team. Conner was the assistant at Wolves and very much part of what was supposedly going wrong at Wolves at the time.

Installing Dolan is much more akin to McDermott replacing Rodgers as he has different ideas and isn't part of the failing regime that's been kicked out.

Dolan is a complete numpty and would be the biggest mistake RFC made since not sacking McDonet after the away defeat at Sunderland. He has a track record of failing miserably with Exeter in Conference back in 2004 and hasn't managed sinse that time. Basically good at coaching 12-16 year olds and doing a bit of pen pushing at RFC Academy. If the RTG's want relegation after next season to Division One the numpty Dolan is your mannnnn.

Real Facts. Listen to Dodger. You know it makes sense.

There are plenty of yes men out of work as we speak the fact is who is the bigest yes man to take the job, it did not take Gus long to figure it out, Nigel wont put up with it, i would not be shocked by Dolan getting it full time
