Agree that a new thread might be a good idea, or just removing any mention of the season from the title.

McIntyre is the one to look out for, centre back who can play in midfield and is frankly a ridiculously good footballer for a centre back. Frost is also a very good player, rounded striker who gets goals. We released a good striker his age this spring who's now at Burnley and is like Shane Long on overdrive because Frost keeps him out.

Sheppard's a versatile player, can play at full back, on either wing, or in central midfield. Really good on the ball and a joy to watch, with a great shot on him. Even from left back, he was a big threat for the U18s last season. It's really good news to have him for two years, he was the one who might have got away this summer.

With Fosu and Stacey probably playing big roles for the first team this season (we don't use first team subs in the U21s), he'll probably have a big role to play for the U21s this season and maybe the first team the year after.

Anyone seen Jack Denton play?

My son used to play with him in Windsor U11s & 12s. Out of interest the team was coached by Jack Stacey's Dad who told me (back then) he was as good as his son.

He was quite small but very good at that level (of course).

Bit part last year, three year deal.... looks rated. Maybe our answer to Kelly leaving with the possibility of pushing him central later, if needed, once he's got more experience.

Good. He's always looked the best of that age group on the rare chances I've seen them. A proper defender who seems to know what he's doing from a young age.

These are the gaps on the current information I hold - anyone able to advise. Might be loads of errors in the position/detailed position too... but can only collate what comes to me!

There may be players that have moved, too (like I discovered Colm McAdden joined Palace). There's also gaps in loads of the contract dates but for youths they aren't always public so won't chase that.....

Tommy Wood is a striker, we released him and he's at Burnley. Farah and Alexis have also been released.

Osho is a centre back, Scheving is a left back, Rollinson is a forward and I think Driscoll is a centre back.

Oliver Gill, son of David. Made the bench a couple of times but "retired" so he could go to university...

Ben Gibson at Middlesbrough is Steve's son.

Ben Gibson is Steve Gibson's nephew.

FAO Maff, trialist is Jeremiah Amoo, David Amoo's younger brother.
Released from West Ham this summer. Their OS confirms: "Amoo is training with Reading" and that was 29th May. Which suggests he'll likely be joining if he's already been here 2 months.

Craig Tanner joins Plymouth on loan until January. Good move for him. Assume he played in the U21's defeat at Home Park a few weeks back?

Think he was picked out by a local journo as the best player on the pitch.
