Looking forward to tonight`s U23 final regular season must win game against Stoke at the Madstad KO 7pm If they do win they are sure of a play-off match away to Aston Villa.

Who do we want to see given a go in the first team next season? For me, I would like to see:
- Legg, Ward or Southwood on the bench (if both Bond and Jaakkola are released)
- Watson
- Richards
- Andresson
- Holmes (if Andresson is loaned out or suffers a dip in form)
- Rinomhota
- Frost
- Barrett
- Smith (perhaps a loan could be good for him)
- Loader
- Novakovich
- Meite (Even though he's not from our academy)

Play-off match?, is it a one off game at their place?

Team was quite interesting

Mendes played an hour, Loader, Smith and Watson the whole game I think

Not sure why Mendes is playing unless we think he can be used on saturday or we are thinking about a new contract. Good to see Watson play the whole game

How did Mendes look?

The minutes I've seen him play previously he did offer something that we lacked. .

Clement needs to see Mendes play to be able to make a decision, there's nothing to say he couldn't get another contract. Either way he certainly needs fitness to contribute here or anywhere else and if he can help the U23s in the process its a win all round.

Just watched the goals from the 3-1 win. All nice finishes from Smith. Suspect he’ll be on the bench ahead of useless Martin on Saturday

Monday was the best game I've seen from each of Frost, Loader, and Smith.

Frost is clearly talented but we have absolutely no idea what to do with him, I've seen him play in every position except centre back. Hard to see where he'll end up.

Smith's definitely benefited from being in and around the first team, he's a much more complete striker than a year ago.
