Royals and Racers Think Man City have got into trouble recently, employing parents as scouts on £600,000 per year !!!!

That was Chelsea. Father of one of their current first team players given a multi year contract at about the rate you mention and never done any scouting for them.

I was a couple of days early regarding Man City- all over the papers today about a Watford 14year old they signed :D

Tbf that was in the news at the time of your first post, and that player is full England international Jadon Sancho.

Royals and Racers Royals U23`s have a welcome weeks break before their next match, home to Middlesboro in a Premier league 2 2nd division fixture at Hogwood next Saturday in a behind closed doors fixture KO 1pm. Yesterday`s excellent victory at Southampton has resulted in the top of the table being very bunched up !
Just a reminder that the top team after the 22 league season is promoted, and the teams finishing 2 to 5 meet in the play-offs with the winner also promoted( teams finishing 2 and 3 are at home- 2v5 3v4). Plenty of big matches to come before the end of April.
Southampton P18 pts 36 GD +11
11/3 Wolves A
5/4 Norwich H
15/4 West Brom A
29/4 Sunderland H

Wolves P 17 pts 34 GD +12
11/3 Southampton H
23/3 Newcastle A
8/4 Aston Villa A
15/4 Stoke H
26/4 Man Utd A

Reading P 18 pts 33 GD +9
9/3 Middlesboro H Hogwood
5/4 Fulham A Craven Cottage
12/4 Aston Villa H Adams Park
29/4 Stoke A

Newcastle P 17 pts 31 GD +13
11/3 Aston Villa H
23/3 Wolves H
8/4 Stoke A
15/4 Man Utd H
28/4 Middlesboro A

Aston Villa P 18 pts 30 GD +2

12/4 Reading A
29/4 West Brom H

Man Utd P 19 pts 26 GD -2
5/4 West Brom H
15/4 Newcastle A
26/4 Wolves H

Big game at Hogwood today KO 1pm- hopefully RFC academy twitter will be all over the game like they were at Southampton a week ago.

Christensen is the Chelsea player.
Seems like the ‘scout’ tag is a common way round the rules !!

Quite making to see Olise on the bench today. Partly shows how stretched we are but he also looks a very good player.

Seen him play a bit and he reminds me in the way he plays a bit like Leroy Sane- all left foot as well.

Look on the positive side. Great experience. Hopefully go away and work even harder. Gomes obviously feels he has potentially something to offer in the future.

Royals and Racers Great result tonight 3-1 through to the semi`s. Hopefully we will get a home draw.

2nd team through to the semi`s tonight- Dinamo Zagreb beat Tottenham 1-0
last 2 QF`s are
6th March Southampton v Villarreal
13th March leicester v Bayern

Southampton 3rd team through, 2-1 winners tonight.

Bayern are the final team through after winning on penalties after drawing 1-1 at Leicester after extra time.
So Bayern, Zagreb,Southampton and Reading contest the semi`s- i would expect with all matches over here- Royals and Southampton will be home to one of the European teams- but who knows !!!!

Is there a kick off time yet? Would be cool to go to this as it is the day before I go on holiday and miss a couple of first team games.
