If anyone wants a bit more detail on the guys we're talking about on this thread this is a decent starting point:

When is a good time to start hailing Liam Kelly as the savior of football?

I like how it's all in our half and then someone punts it up to the big striker

I don't fancy our chances. Lewis Collins goal has 82 votes down in about 5th / 6th and the leader has 700+

The highlight reel deosnt really demonstrate the team part of the goal. Its a fairly standard finish.

Thats the minimum right? I mean when I read about it I thought it was a minimum fee to make sure clubs with no money can't be bullied to sell for nothing?

Hmm you see I thought that it was a minimum price (which makes no sense in my head now as i think about it) but i reread the eppp thingie and its a set price.. That makes no sense at all? But could clubs just give pro contracts to the players they want to keep? or do you have to be 17 to get a pro deal? Anyway the whole thing is going to go the way of Germany.. Everyone stays more or less where they are, the big clubs get bigger, and the small clubs get smaller. Very unlike the English football we all know and love! Soon the bottom leagues will be full of Arsenal Reserves and Chelsea Reserves instead of independent teams.

sigh.

Yes, we have some players on 2yr scholarships with guaranteed one year pro at the end. The new/foreign youth players we are signing we are putting on longer deals, also means we have to be meticulous to ensure that they are the youth players that we need as it's harder to discard them if it doesn't work out.

sounds like something a player could squirm out of if they wanted to leave -_- I'm not particularly worried about our scouting we seem pretty solid at that! and Icelandics have done us well in the past so more of them!
Do people in Iceland actually know who we are? I mean we've had several quite famous Icelandic players..

Some sexy football here. Particularly from the likes of Kelly and Conor. Cardwell is a big bugger.
