Royals and Racers Monday morning and still no report on the RFC website of Friday’s U23’s win at Fulham. They give the correct score 3-0 on the fixtures page however the match page says it finished 0-0 !!!
All in all a pretty pathetic effort by the club !!!

Looks like a "library photograph" they have used - that`s the Fulham training ground at Motspur park and not Craven cottage i think.

Seems like the they only have one social media person covering U23/U18s. Presumably finished work on Friday evening before the match started, and wrote up the report this morning.

He or she must live in Southampton, as 4 weeks ago the Academy twitter, plus Website covered the Friday night game brilliantly. Obviously couldn`t be ar$ed to go to London !!!!!

Couple of big matches tonight in the premier league 2 div 2
Aston Villa 1 Wolves 0
Stoke 2 Newcastle 3
so with 2 matches each left to play the top of the table looks like this
1 Southampton P 20 PTS 39 GD +12 West Brom A Sunderland H
2 Wolves P 20 PTS 37 GD + 21 Stoke H Man Utd A
3 Newcastle P 20 PTS 37 GD + 13 Man Utd H Middlesborough A
4 Reading P 20 Pts 37 GD + 12 Aston villa H Stoke A
5 Aston Villa P 20 PTS 36 GD +6 Reading A West Brom H

Just a reminder top team promoted - teams 2-5 in Play-offs(single game) 2 v 5 3 v 4

Looks like the club are starting their summer clear out. I expect to hear of a few more youngsters being told to move on.

Or juggles their hours to attend and write up as many games as possible, but cannot cover all of them. There was good coverage of the PL International Cup game on the Monday night.

I know you'd like to see more official coverage, but the club is losing money hand-over-fist, and I doubt they can justify having more than one part or full time employee dong that job, which means they aren't going to be able to cover everything in real time.
A few years back they offered internships doing this kind of job - but unpaid. And naturally got slated for that.

Sorry but i cannot accept that they can cover one away match brilliantly and the rest pathetically. They must know that a lot of fans are interested in the academy, the attendance of over 2000 for the Bayern match proves that. In fact when they have played at the Madejski stadium there have always been decent crowds, understandably less so when the matches are at Wycombe and Woking. They seem to be able to get a report of an Academy player signing a new contract up within hours yet a match report takes day`s !!!!!
Edit when did we know who played last Friday- i posted it just prior to kick off- the club Monday lunchtime !!!!!

Looking to go down to Adams park for tomorrow night's game but haven't been before. Are the U23 games usually ticketed or do you just rock up? I tend to see them on the road more then at home when I can.

Just rock up - not normally too many there. I always park in the car park.Parking is also available on the road leading to the stadium
