New player, one of the best Bosnian young players. Signed a 3-year contract with the club. Wanted by Tottenham and Everton, but decided for Reading, cause he believes, he will faster get a chance to play in the first team.

Why do all these compilation videos have music for remtards?

If he's that good stick him straight into the first team. Nick Blackmans replacement.

I doubt he was wanted by Everton, they had him on trial in April and never signed him, unless you're gonna tell me he took 9 months to make up his mind.

On the EP website now...

Reading FC have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Bosnian teenager Seid Behram.

The 17-year-old has been given a three-year contract by Royals, but as he does not hold an EU passport he will have to be loaned back out if he wants to play competitive football.

Behram, who had a 10-day trial with Everton last April, said: "This is a great day for my family and me, since I officially became a player for Reading FC.

"Thanks to everyone who stood by me and supported me in everything. Great days are ahead of me."

Midfielder Behram, whose best position is on the left wing, has represented his country at under-15 and under-17 level.

Looks like there still some work to be done over his passport which may explain why Spurs/Everton didn't follow up interest.

as i just posted over on rumours and gossip I Just asked my FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo U19 supporting mate what he thinks of him and the few games that he managed to get to he thought he was the best player on the pitch. Apparently we have got ourselves fantastic youngster and to quote him 'in football manager he would be classed as a wonderkid'

How in the world do you have a FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo U19 supporting mate, that's very specific.

If he's as good as they say he'll play for the their national team before long, then a work permit won't be an issue.

It is a risk though, one that didn't work with the Georgian kid who's name I'm struggling to recall.

The club took a gamble with Lasha Dvali that he would become a full international very quickly, and would therefore get a work permit. However it never woked out, went on loan to a couple of clubs, and he is now without a club having left a Budersleaga Division 2 club just before Xmas. Same gamble with Seid Behram- he cannot get a work permit, but the club hope he can become a full international and therefore qualify for the work permit and play for us.

I would not worry so much, he has a really good agent watching his back, and there is a big chance he will become an EU citizen during this month, some inside story I have.

Let me guess, his grandparents were born in Yugoslavia and they're using the Alan Kernighan defence and claiming that because it was all one country, they are actually Croatian as well as Bosnian.

Can't imagine it's too difficult to get a Croatian passport of you know the right people and the right loopholes.

I don't know the details, but is it possible to do it in the way you explained?

U21's playing Man Utd at 7pm tonight. Live on MUTV so may be a few dodgy streams about for those interested.
