NewCorkSeth The club need to be a bit more helpful with updates on our youth prospects. Do you know anything about Danny Loader? I remember the sun did an article last summer naming him along with players like Ryan Sessegnon as hot prospects has he looked any good?

I'd prefer if it was all kept low-key - the last thing a lot of these players need is to be touted as the next Gylfi or whatever. They are certainly promoting the PL2 cup-final - but it's the team rather than individual players.

Danny Loader has been called up for the England U17s so there is certainly potential there. But potential doesn't equate to success. Some never really progress beyond where they are at 16 or 17, so as others improve, they fall by the wayside.

Cherno Samba comes to mind!

Is the final a 2 legged affair or do they get to play somewhere neutral ?

I think when we won it last time it was 2 legs. The cup was certainly presented after the Madejski game but I cannot r call if that was a one off or the second leg !
Playing it at a neutral ground would be a sure way of having a very small crowd....

It says here that`s it`s a one off game https://www.premierleague.com/news/58756 which I think is a disgrace- plenty of time to fit 2 legs in after this weekend`s final u23 league fixtures. Presumably they toss a coin as to Reading or Swansea for the venue.

Star reckon it will be played at a neutral venue.
Seems crazy, chances are they will decide to play it in ipswich or Sunderland, just for the convenience of the fans.
Logically a neutral venue to suit us and Swansea would be Ashton Gate I would guess but it's a sure way of ensuring the crowd size is greatly reduced.

Very quick but I prefer Holsgrove. He's still young, next year will be a big one for him.

Shame that the Under 23s have been relegated tonight by Derby's win.

Well, almost relegated, if Reading win their final game and Man Utd get smashed in both their remaining games then it could happen.

An 11 goal swing is unlikely but not impossible.

Currently:

Reading 2-0 Sunderland
Arsenal 2-0 Man Utd

4 of the 11 goal swing done, bear in mind United still have another game after this so we would currently be hoping they lose 7-0 so with that in mind, more goals, more swing!

A handful of sides from Premier League clubs such as West Ham, West Brom, Stoke and Southampton, who were relegated with us, and Championship clubs like Fulham and Aston Villa and Norwich

Assume Tanner will be joining Plymouth permanently in that case. Surprised at Long and Hyam being released too.

Not sure it's ruthless. Both were good prospects 2or 3 years ago but sadly had not progressed as expected. Compare the trajectory of Kuhl's career and that of Liam Kelly.
Interested that Jack Stacey is not mentioned, presumably his contract has another year to run ?
Will also be interested in whether Jake Cooper is retained or allowed to move on.

Yes agreed. Kuhl, Long, Cardwell, Tanner, Hyam, Bennett and Moore all rated quite highly in the past.
