Reading F.C. against homophobia apparently.

by NewCorkSeth » 07 Feb 2014 16:42

In a shock turnaround Reading F.C. have changed their position on homophobia and have stated that tomorrow captain Jobi Mcanuff will sign a pledge declaring the club, once and for all, against homophobia.

Quotes from the man himself.
“There’s no room for any kind of abuse or discrimination in football. I’ve been at this club for many years now, we’re all about inclusion and families – so everyone should feel welcome. Your race, religion, gender, sexuality…whatever it is, it should have any bearing on your enjoyment of the game. This is a great campaign to support.”

Are they really turning the corner and joining the 21st century or is this another empty gesture though?

What's Reading FCs view on Russia's hosting of the Winter Olympics?

They're in an awkward position now I'd have thought.

Maybe zinger left due to homosexuality exsisting in this country? And on the team?

"Many a true word is said in jest" is a common expression used in this country.

Is this gonna be the start of Reading FC clarifying their views on other issues?

Do we know where they stand on say, Ethnic Cleansing? Or GM foods?

And gingers. I mean, do you see any gingers in the first team? Except for Pearce who had his captaincy stripped..

No could or might be about it, of course he's gay, who wouldn't be happy given our current form? Personally I think our players and fans are all gay at the moment.

Didn't even realise he was ginger, just thought he had light brown hair and was a bit freckly. I am colourblind tbf though.
Someone should inform Ian Royal as well.

Has he always been this ginger?

If this is true, good on them. If not, it will probably be my last game.

You must have a worse case of spacker eyes than me. I've had my problems identifying gingers in the past (turns out one of my lady encounters was one!!! I feel dirty), but Pearce is pretty obviously not folically normal.

Thats why he was allowed to play for ireland. We accept gingers as players where possible!
