SPARTA Seems there's a lot of fans calling for Leigertwood to play, but many seem to forget he was always barracked on here for being inconsistent. When he was poor he was atrocious; when he was fully fit and full of confidence, then he was an asset. He's a confidence player! He'll fall to pieces with the way our fans turn on the team this season. Still, we haven't really got a great deal of choice at the moment. Jake Taylor deserves a chance though, otherwise there's little point in him being in the squad.

Balls. Legs was mr consistency at this level and was even consistent in the PL, if consistently not good enough there.

The Rouge I think promoting Kuhl and the gang to the first team too soon would be a bad move personally..

When wont be too soon? Bearing in mind there's 5 games left, and next season they'll almost certainly be in and around the first-team squad.

Shirly he's behind the Tshibola and Taylor in the pecking order anyway.

Agreed, but more to the point with our injury predicament, beggars can't be choosers. At least he's not a winger.

Kuhl has been more impressive this season than Tish, but build wise Kuhl may be a little on the light-weight side, it's one for Adkins to ponder. Taylor isn't a defensive midfielder, so shouldn't really compare him with these two.

No, but either Ledge or Williams will be playing as a holding midfielder, so that second place in the middle could be filled with either.

I've not seen enough of Tshibola (only really the Oman game) to compare him with Khul, so i'll have to differ to your superior knowledge there, but hasn't the U18s success and media coverage helped that a bit? The fact that he's been put on the 1st team bench must mean that there's some confidence in him.

SPARTA
royalgrumpy Kuhl has traveled with the U21's to Boro.

No Craig Tanner in the U21's tonight..

Sounds like Tanner is injured from his twitter.
Tshibola also in U21s team.

If we have to endure 90 minutes of McAnuff and Obita in centre midfield again I will be oxf*rd livid.

Kuhl looks to have more about him than Tshibola, but to be honest either would be a refreshing change to the God awful Akpan. Still, the summer's coming thick and fast and we may well get to see both next season. There'll be a lot of changes this summer.

That's not a personal opinion at all.
Anything that happens "too soon" is bad.

The question is whether now is too soon.

Over the last 2 weeks I went to both u18 cup games and both 1st team games.
I think a lot of you are overestimating the gap in talent tbh.
That's more a reflection on how poor the 1st team are though.

Did anyone see McAnuff pass the ball forwards against Bournemouth? No, me neither...
Kuhl, on the other hand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb6c0BE ... rLfeGPv-IA

Yep. Hoping to be fit for City in the final second leg.

Pretty sure The Rouge just wanted to say 'Kuhl and the gang', and doesn't necessarily agree with the point he made.

Don't think talent is the question. It's physicality and experience. And the gap betwee u18 and championship in those regards is enorm I us.

Its not a matter of talent though. A good proportion on the U18s and some of the U21s quite simply have to put some body mass on before they get considered for the first team.
For some of them, I have no doubt that will be the summer priority.
