This season has been a shambles yet somehow I still hang onto a stupid glimmer of hope. I even try to hate football but this shower keep dragging me back in!

So if things don't change then we need to beat Burnley by 2 goals next week and hope Brighton don't win at Forest to be sure of the play offs. Any sort of win over Burnley would be enough if Brighton lost.

But - as things stand - if both Reading and Brighton win we could still be in the playoffs if Wigan lose away to Birmingham!

Birmingham being the team who haven't won at home since the beginning of October.

If things stay exactly as they are I think:

If we beat Burnley we will be in IF Brighton don't beat Forest

If we beat Burnley we will be in IF Wigan don't take more than a point from their last 2 games

If we draw with Burnley we will be in IF Brighton lose to Forest by at least 2 goals and Blackburn don't beat Wigan

That's the one - the team who are currently 0-3 down to Leeds!
