I don't think it'd be up to him.

Leeds don't have the money to pay his wages, let alone his transfer fee

Won't happen

Yeah, except from their new owner Massimo Cellino owns a top half Serie A club, Cagliari, which he's looking to sell for well over hundreds of millions, and he's got millions himself in his back pocket. Except from that, Leeds are fcking skint

We may well accept peanuts for him to get him off the wage bill. Same goes for Pog and maybe Guthrie.

We may have to go further and pay some of our high earners to go - if we assume Royston is on c £1m a year and has 1 year remaining, if we paid him £500k to go and find another club we still save £500k (plus associated costs) and he has the potential to earn more than he would have done by staying put - assuming of course that anyone at another club is stupid enough to pay him more than £500k a year.

He has to pay off the debt at Leeds first, then the fact he won't sack McD cos he'll have to pay him £1.5m means he won't be quite as flush with the money - buying a player who is a liability

I would confidently suggest we would happily accept £0.00 for Drenthe and chauffer him to Elland Road

That helicopter isn't big enough; they would need a Chinook for Royston.

Which of Royston's two free kicks in our 46 game season impressed Leeds then?

I doubt this is McD and instead is the new owner on FM10 (he can't afford the latest version) and he's just realised we have a Real Madrid player

Brian still loves us and is trying to take the useless lump off our wage bill.

Its all part of his master plan for when the Orange One packs his bags to West Bromwich and McD travels down the M4 to be reunited in the hope that the Russian has gone for good, that he has cleared us of all the useless junk which has accumulated.

Next on the list, Mr Blackman going back to Yorkshire
