Tommio Royston has put on Instagram that he hasn't traveled with the squad and that he is going to leave

More importantly 4 new players :D

No, he doesn't mean that we are signing 4 players instead of him, he is saying that his wages are as many as what 4 players would be on.

He's not going anywhere if we don't find a buyer. He may just rot away in the reserves.

"They's" isn't a word, so that wouldn't have helped.

If he leaves we don't need new owners. Brilliant news.

Well if he goes that's another player who's nailed on to have the game of his life and bag a hatful when he next plays against us.

I'm so disappointed by this. I understand the clubs position (having him here doesn't make financial sense). BUT, if we have him here, treat him well and play him? Surely then it will make others want to buy him and we will be able to offload? Unless of course we believe that we can market him as a great player we can't afford to play rathe than let the world see he's not that great?

Also, Royston can renegotiate his contract if he wants; halve the basic and a £2m promotion bonus?

Disappointing...

Yeah, I was hoping that we could have got a better return from Royston this coming season. Clearly this has been another one of AZ's utter disasters that didn't work out.

I'm not at all surprised though, I did think when he was signed that he'd be a one season wonder (without the actual wonder, as it turned out.) But if we have to 'sacrifice' Royston to get 4 in, then it's a no brainer. He must be our top earner by some distance.

Gunnarsson's_Gunners
TBM Leeds don't have the money to pay his wages, let alone his transfer fee

Won't happen

Yeah, except from their new owner Massimo Cellino owns a top half Serie A club, Cagliari, which he's looking to sell for well over hundreds of millions, and he's got millions himself in his back pocket. Except from that, Leeds are fcking skint

As i said....

Leeds are now embarking on a cost-cutting process that has seen the canteen at their training ground closed down, meaning the players have to take packed lunches or send out for sandwiches. The players are also being made to pay to have their kits washed. Hockaday will not have control of transfer business and Cellino intends to flood the squad with free signings and cheap Italian imports.

Leeds aren't providing their players with food?! So actually it's Paddy Kenny who has demanded a move in protest, rather than Leeds looking to offload him!

Mind you, judging by the photos that appeared in The Mail, Kenny was clearly tipped off about the plan and spent all summer building up his reserves in preparation!

I agree, however, there's always two sides to every story and we've only heard Royston's, so far.
