Woohoo! All hail the return of the Rougeometer!

My humble guess was about 10th, once the ownership issues were resolved and hopefully we get a bit of cash to spend, so it's pleasing to see this backed up by the all-knowing One.

I believe!

The Rouge
handbags_harris I'd like to know how the qubits in the Rougeometer are entangled. This absolutelt must be a quantum computer that he has...

The qubit entanglement was rather straightforward, it was the silicon chip development that was a stumbling block. Typically, making a chip involves creating a stencil of the circuit, etching it onto a silicon wafer and putting the components on it layer by layer, but beyond 14nm this is very, very hard and we needed time to develop that. We needed to regulate the temperature in the cellar as well, as it needs to be regulated at below 13 degrees.

Bit dissapointed and shocked it's using silicon.
(or is it a newly discovered isotope ?)

Zammo
floyd__streete WASP > Rougeometer.

Fcuking WASP. Mrs Zammo reckons my new catchphrase is "will you stop going on about WASP". It defo won't be used next cricket season.

WASP had Hants as 21% chance of winning at the start of their T20 innings on Sunday. They won with ease

LOL @ 'scientific research' into sporting outcomes.

Gotta agree with Floyd on that.
But the rougeometer transcends science, surely.

What happens if you reverse the polarity of the neutron flow though?

I tried that but this happened, so I aborted that plan.

BraisingsteakRoyal
Wycombe Royal There is more chance of being 22nd-24th than there is of being 1st or 2nd.

Questioning the Rougeometer at this early stage - bold.

Reading f.c. "mentioned" in f365's article on the coming championship season

Careful! If you blink you might miss it.

Fulham to win the title - 11/1
Middlesbrough to gain promotion - 6/1
Charlton to be relegated - 13/4
Gary Hooper to be top scorer - 20/1 (each-way at 1/4 odds)
Fulham to win the title and Ross McCormack be top scorer - 33/1

I know pre-season predications can usually be far off but this must be some sort of record to be this wrong only 6 games in!

maffff Seems about right to me. Perhaps a little positive, but who am I to dismiss the almighty Rougeometer?

+1 to maffff

Hopefully it'll be more reliable than the last couple of seasons when it broke down after about two weeks. I can't believe it was the almighty Rougeometer at fault though. I expect it was user error from Rouge.

*ahem*

so 38.6% chance of top 6
surely a further refinement would be chances of promotion?

The Rougeometer knows RFC's chance of promotion via playoffs is zero.

Chance of promotion is stated as 8.2%, chances of crushing but inevitable disappointment in the playoffs is stated as 30.4%.
