Pepe the Horseman has someone fcuked up?

Could be me, of course.

His loan to Bordeaux was blocked because of the three-club rule, so unless the FA's position is that ALL loans between English clubs don't count for that rule it should apply to this loan as well.

I think you're right tbf. Unless the FA quite rightly don't count the U21s.

so a article in the london evening standard today where pardew refers to Murray as

' “master” Glenn Murray'

“You have got to learn all those traits,” said the Palace manager. “How to hold it in, buy free-kicks.

“He has got a great mentor here in Glenn Murray. Glenn is the master of that No9 role in terms of those little tricks that you need.”

doesn't sound like comments of a manager who is about to get rid

I believe only two people were present during that particular discussion. One claims a person's word was given, the other subsequently claimed that wasn't how events transpired. Only the two present know the full truth.

On the other hand, Pardew told a large group of Reading supporters that he really loved the club and hoped to be with it for a very long time. Days later he tried to jump ship and ended up tending his garden for a while. So how reliable is his word?

Good news - he's signed a new contract with CP - at least now, the excuse that we were trying to sign him up to the last moment of the transfer window can't be used ....

But with Ameobi signing today and rumours that Zaha will be signing a permanent deal, how is he going to get into the 25 man squad.

There forwards will probably be:

Sanogo, Gayle, Zaha, Ameobi, Campbell and Chamakh.

Can't imagine they'd have 7 in a 25 man squad. I reckon he may well be loaned back to us still.

Wowzer. Well, at least we haven't spent the whole transfer window chasing a player that obviously didn't want to come to us.

TBF Chamakh is absolutely god awful, I'd put Murray ahead of him.

Chamakh on loan anyone?

Palace fans seem happy, good news for Murray and in the long run, good news for us.

Agreed on the relative merits of Chamakh and Murray. I haven't forgiven Chamakh for scoring against us in the 7-5. More importantly, it wouldn't stop us having to pick Vastsuk.

I'm confused why we only loaned him for 5 months and not the whole season...

And what happened about this agreed fee we had, I'm guessing he turned us down
