Federici*
Gunter Pearce Hector Obita
McLeary Karacan Williams HRK
Pog Blackman

*or McCathy

Blackman has played some good football recently on the right so I'd give him a go up front.

I'd say our main areas of weakness, when all players are fit are: Central Defender, left wing/left back depending on where Obita plays and Striker.

Having said that, I've not really factored in the new signings as I've not seen enough of them and in reality, Adkins probably isn't going to play 4-4-2, but hopefully will play Obita at left back/wingback/left wing going forward instead of central midfield, particularly as the little fella with the big hair came on and sent passes all over place with pin point accuracy which Danny Guthrie can only aspire to.

In a way, you don't want them all to be fit, because this is a bit of a team that we know all about, and it probably isn't quite good enough for promotion. We want some of the young players to come in and surprise us with their brilliance, like Hector has done.

There's a difference between our best 11 players and the best 11 that fit Adkins style of play.

I'd say Federici and McCarthy were two of our top 11 players but I wouldn't start them both.... might be about positions.

Unfortunately for you and Alex LoyalRoyalFan until he knuckles down, works on his weaknesses, gets his focus back on his career and off designing diamonds and dating z list big brother contestants then Federici is in the best 11.

I know it's tough to take but practice your breathing, grab a box of Kleenex, call the Samaritans or, if it makes you feel better, babestation and look after yourself. We're all thinking of you m8.

I'm surprised half a dozen have included Ferdinand in their strongest side considering how long it'll have been since seeing him play, let alone play well.

McCarthy/Feds - Lets be honest, there isn't alot in it right now.

Gunter - Pearce - Hector - Obita
------- Karacan --- Williams/Norwood------
McCleary ---- Cox--------- Mackie/Blackman
----------------Pog--------------------

Karacan is now captain so when fit, he picks himself. Williams looks like his injury is pretty serious and as much as I'd love to see Kuhl in there, I don't think he is right "there" physically yet.

McCleary is pretty much the first name on the team sheet and picks himself. Cox is a much better option than Taylor who is really League 1 level. I do think Tanner will break into this team into the next 18 months though, he is someone that I have a good feeling about.

Blackman has done a good job so far this season and I am reserving judgement on Mackie which is why I couldn't choose between the two.

The back four pretty much picks itself.

---------------------- Federici --------------------
Gunter ------ Hector ------ Pearce ----- Obita

--------------- Karacan ---- Williams -----------

McCleary -------------- Cox ------------- Mackie

-------------------------- Pog ----------------------

Subs: Andersen*, Ferdinand, Cummings, Kuhl, Guthrie, HRK, Blackman

* assuming McCarthy leaves.

Not putting Norwood anywhere till we've seen him play. Hopefully come the end of the window we'll have another striker to put in the side with Pog, and just to remove HRK completely.
