winchester_royal Shirley if you get into either the PO's or the QF's of the cup you're guaranteed to be 1 minute away from Wembley

What if you're 6-0 down with a minute to play?

What if you lose the first leg of a play off 10-0?

What if you lose your leg during a play off leg and can't kick the ball?

How is that physically possible - even in the opposite kicked the ball into their own net 7 times, it would take longer than a minute

Ref would have to add on extra added time for each stoppage in play after the goal. It does not take more than 8.57 seconds for a ball to be kicked from the centre circle to the goal.

paultheroyal How anyone cannot see an improvement under Clarke beggars belief.

We were in a total downward spiral under Adkins and I am sure our league position would be a whole lot worse.

An FA Cup run, mid table safety and a review of the squad which will mean the likes of Taylor, Guthrie, Akpan, Blackman, Kelly etc are not here next season is a job well done.

Everyone can can't they? It's just not been big enough and keeps getting screwed over by strange management decisions every time it looks to be really bedding in.

We've won one game in the cup under Clarke. I'd hardly call that a cup run.

Maguire .

Minor caveat: we don't know which players were carrying knocks etc and capable of starting.

True. Though Im not sure why Clarke wouldn't mention that.

Exactly. You should always play your strongest team. Surely it would have been easier to get 3 pts against Huddersfield than 3 points today. Its all about points on the board and confidence which comes from a run of good results. A loss today and we are back in the relegation mix and in the wrong frame of mind for the cup game. I like SC but he made a big mistake at Huddersfield.

MmmMonsterMunch Lets be honest we need max 12 points to stay up. Hardly a massive ask to get 12 from 39 is it?

Still confident

Cos I'm not

It's just so frustrating. We were building a bit of quality and form, then he drops Cox & HRK + switches formation against Leeds and it destroys everything we'd achieved. Clawed it back just about against Derby and Ipswich between which we had the Wigan shambles, only to then throw it all away again with 6 changes for Huddersfield.

We've gone from being unbeaten in three league games, to having lost four out of five and half of it's self inflicted.

Pissed off.

just want to say the players rested on Tuesday really looked up nfor the fight today, FFS Clarke let`s get to the safety limit before you go pissing about with the team again.
we really should be ok. but with our present run of form every pojnt will be prescious.
