Anton Ferdinand Dead or Alive??

by linkenholtroyal » 22 Apr 2015 13:17

Has anyone actually seen Ferdinand recently, worried he may have died and Steve Clarke hadnt realised, for him to be injured this long i should think he is probably on deaths door??

Saw him walking past the hotel into the stadium before the Blackburn game.

I'm struggling to care at this point. It may not be his fault, but it's galling just how much we've paid him per minute of on-field contribution, particularly when we're so hamstrung by FFP.

What was wrong with Scott Murray, he joined, he scored a goal or two. The problem was he was a left footed right winger (or something like that) and Pardew didn't like that idea, so he went back to Bristol City/Rovers, whichever.

However, Ferdinand deserves to be on the list along with Zat Knight, Mark Reilly, Emerse Fae, Paul Brayson etc

Not sure why we offer someone a 2 year deal when they have suffered with injuries before coming.
Let's hope this time there isn't a clause in the contract to extend for another year

I quite liked Scott Murray to be fair. I remember him destroying Forest (I think it was) in a 3-0 home win and being unplayable, but that might have been his high point.

Yep I remember that game too. Problem was it was his first game for us and our first of the season. His decline from that was fairly rapid and depressing and he was back from whence he came by the end of the following January.

I just remember people creaming themselves about the signing and he didn't even last a year, that's a fail for me

Typical HNA thread.

Start talking about Anton Ferdinand and end up discussing Scott Murray.

Yup, my bad.

Anton Ferdinand has to be our worst signing ever. 20 minutes is it he's played in pretty much a full season of being here now?

Unbelievably bad signing. Why was he given a 2 year deal? Someone at the club should be accountable for this, and explain themselves

Sutekh And this is what he looks like....

the reason you cant see is bottom half is to hide his wooden leg, thats what his injury is keeps getting splinters in the other leg when he runs

Could Blackman claim a good 20 minutes from his season? If you include posturing and corner flag kicking, probably so.
