2.8 lita injection Reading have good history with goalkeepers, Sal Bibbo gone and the donkey Beasant in and look what has happened.

The days of McCarthy, Federichi & USA seem light years ago.

If it ain't broke why fix it?

WAZZOCK Aside from that goal tonight, the only aspect of Bond's game that has looked shaky is his kicking. His shot stopping and commanding of his area (until 10 mins ago) has been absolutely fine.

Rubbish, he's barely been tested. He's made no great saves and has flapped frequently and got away with it. He's no Federici, everyone knew he wouldn't be, but i'd hoped he'd start better than this. Hope he gets it out of his system quick and starts playing like we've been told he can.

Keep the faith everyone, once we get our new players up to speed and the injured ones back, plus any new signings i am quietly confident of the play-offs....most of us would have took a point before the game, and again its a game we totally controlled from start to finish just like Brum away, we will come good. :D

It was an individual error but Clarke must take his fair share of the game - negative substitutions when we were in a position to see the game out just invites pressure.

RoyalBlue
RoyallyFcuked Bit worrying though, we appear to have replaced an error prone goalkeeper with two more error prone goalkeepers...

At least Feds also demonstrated many moments of sheer brilliance and gained us far more points than he ever lost. Every time Al-Habsi has played against us he has demonstrated that he is an accident waiting to happen. Would still rather have Bond than him.

I agree on both Feds and Al Habsi/Bond.

I thought Al Habsi used to be pretty good but became far more prone to errors, I saw one of them live as it was against us, away to Wigan (our most recent Prem season). Real howler, couldn't even work out how the ball had gone in.

I would also prefer Bond as he is pretty young and has the potential to be a good keeper, however, we could do without more mistakes in our side tbh.

Could Al Habsi's experience be better for us right now?

Okay start. Hurtado in, Fernandez in, striker (hopefully) in and then Clarke will be judged.

Not a terrible start, on the back of last season, but we've looked fairly good, it this doesn't improve
then we'll have something to moan about..........

sandman Just saying that the situation reminds me of the last time we tried to replace a keeper who did well for us with a keeper from Watford.

OMG Simmon Sheppard! Remind me, who did he replace?

Lacoste

Well he's certainly had plenty of experience of picking himself up after he has made a mistake!

strap tell me again how Clarke is SO different from Adkins??

The major difference being Clarke's PPG is worse than Adkins.

Jeez, it gets worse! Thanks Floyd (I think!)

I know this is all massively upsetting and after dominating the game it's gut wrenching to let in a 90th minute equaliser to another goal keeping howler, but I hope you can all take some solace in the fact that I cashed out after 79 mins and got £148 and I was lying about lumping half of it on 2-0.

Good night folks. URZ and all that.

But there was no pressure. They were just hoofing it. Bread and butter catch dropped. One man's error and not Clarke's

strap Just waiting for Clarke's excuses again. If we'd had had a striker worth the name, we'd have been home free well before the clanger.

Oh well, "we take the point and move on" - tell me again how Clarke is SO different from Adkins??

Get a grip.

Can't blame Clarke for that. We were well worthy of a win.

Keeper howler. Striker and wingers are coming. We will get stronger.

^ this x 100

It's a howler. We of all clubs know it happens.

I just feel for the travelling support.
