Ian Royal
Vision Reckon Brian's people have played a blinder here.

Leaked to the local press that it's a done deal and creating such a groundswell of goodwill amongst the fan base that it's impossible to not appoint him. Brian now in the driving seat.

#Briansrevenge.

Tbh i was surprised at how negative the reaction on here was

Really? A few dissenters for sure but the majority seemed very happy. Even amongst those that wanted him sacked the first time around.

Mind you I'm not sure the Team Board is any more of a gauge for Reading fans in general than Twitter opinion is for the electorate.

There was a Jaguar something or other in the hotel car park last night - with the initials BRY on the end - this means that McD is holding out until he can secure Brynyar as his number 2 - or something.

If there is a prize for baseless speculation, you win.

MmmMonsterMunch I'm going to stick my neck out & say he ain't coming.

Honestly if I was him, I wouldn't. Why give up a cushy, enjoyable job at a very well run club that have looked after him well........to come back to a place where he'll end up getting booed within 12-18 months?

Nah not for me. And I don't blame him either.

Yep but he'll be earning a lot more as a manager than a scout .... A LOT MORE!

RoyalJack Someone must know where Brian is. Must live near him, see him in the post office, drink in his local? He hasn't disappeared off the face of the earth. Can't someone ask him his plans. Maybe he has Christmas shopping to do this weekend and can't start until Monday.

He's certainly lost my support if he's not sufficiently organised to have his Christmas shopping done by now. I bet De Canio had his done by the end of November.

So can we assume the club is being honest when it says that an announcement won't be made until after the game tomorrow?

Can I stop hitting refresh on the website and GetReading?

Who is going to be assistant manager etc? Perhaps there's other factors that need ironing out.
