Theres a theme emerging here..................

HRK, Gunter and Church

Personally I dislike the Welsh. However some of the abuse from the numpties on here towards these guys is unfounded and embarrassing.

Platypuss
OLLIE KEARNS You seriously think league a winning side at Championship level can carry an appalling player who makes +30 appearances ???

Simon Church played 31.

FIN.

He played 90 minutes 5 times that season. He also contributed 7 goals in his total time on the pitch so probably not a bad goals per minutes ratio if anyone has the stats. A long way from appalling I'd say.

Any particular reason you dislike the Welsh? Is it their singing, Tom Jones, miners helmets? Or just that you're a twat?

As much as I stick up for him, it is getting a bit silly now. Would think someone would have shown him how to do it by now.

If we offer him a new contract in the summer I will have lost all hope in humanity.

He's the weakest link in our team with the exception of Hector.

I genuinely disagree. Such is his consistent woefulness and my total confidence in his inadequacies, the day he actually stops a cross I will happily cut off my own dick, super glue it to my forehead and legally change my name to Nigel Adkins.

Hope it is somewhere safe and secure because it will be a long time before you need to revisit it. Gunter is an athletic, well paid professional but he is not a right back.

Gunter is not a footballer full stop. Seriously I think Cummings is a better right back than Gunter

I'd go for the last bit personally.

I'm sure that Chris Gunter would have been a world class 400m runner if he'd gone down the athletics route. I have this vision of him surging clear as they head to the final bend in the 400m Olympics Final when someone in the crowd throws a football onto the track. He takes a touch to assess the options ahead of him and then turns and sprints back in the direction that he'd just come from....

Gunter is not a right back! He may be athletic, well paid, professional, and a right back, but he is not a prostitute!

Good job there is an edit function…but he's also been pretty pants when he's played left back.

Apology to old Gunts for blaming him for the penalty. However, his. complete joke of an "attempt" to cut out the cross for the first is unforgivable.

Still at fault for the penalty. Let the guy run right past him. Pathetic attempt to "tackle" Bunn
