I'd be pretty chuffed with a Glen Little MkII. Pace isn't everything.

Hit the deck too easily. Get the Chelsea out of him and he looks good.

I was impressed with Swift last night. Showed elegance and intelligence on the ball. An improvement on Evans, I'd be happy to have him starting based on last night's performance.

Swindon are a physical side. They know him from his time at the County Ground. Far stronger than when I saw him play here. Room for one creative player in the side.

They offered him a contract, he joined us instead so compensation must have been agreed as it didn't go to a tribunal, perhaps one of the terms agreed was a buyback clause.

If Chelsea waived their rights to compensation we may have agreed to give them first refusal on him if we decide to sell during his initial contract period, there may even be a price included.
Wouldn't give Chelsea the right to demand to buy him though !

We really aren't!

He was known for going to ground easily in his time here. Won us a penalty on his debut up at Fleetwood, it got a bit frustrating after a while though. On a side note, he was pictured tucking into a big mac on the way back from that game. Can't imagine your new gaff allowing such disgraceful behaviour!

Exactly. As Stam quite rightly said "Swift is not the saviour of Reading".

Don't get me wrong it is a blow. But I feel we have cover there - we would suffer if we lost Moore or McShane tbh.
