Presumably they have a 10 page thread about how indifferent they are about tinpot Reading already.

Worried about this. World class footballing side and a very imposing stadium. Really hope their ultras don't turn up. :|

So this will most likely be on the evening of Tuesday 20th September.

It would be a brilliant evening out if we won the game :P Would prefer to get the train but may be awkward with it being a weekday

Probably go to this purely because tickets will be about £10, but in the league they'll charge £30.

So what we have here is.

Reading fans have delusions of grandeur. Brighton traditionally have always been a bigger club than Reading. There's not a massive gulf in the size of the clubs these days. You're as bad as each other. Get over it and move on.

My sentiments exactly - I make that £20 to spend on beer unless my maths has severely deteriorated since school?! All aboard the booze bus honk honk!!

Another beauty from NSC. The absolute irony of this.....

As if having to endure Reading and their fans twice in one season wasn't enough. Curse you football God!

Head-to-head v Brighton and Hove Albion (to the end of season 2015/2016)

READING - DRAW - BRIGHTON

League = 34 - 27 - 29 (90 games)
FAC = 0 - 0 - 1 (1 game)
EFLC = 1 - 3 - 0 (4 games)

Total = 35 - 30 - 30 (95 games)

Just so very much at more or less the same level forever

(but they're obviously much the bigger club in their cloned, inaccessible and not at all plastic 100,000 seat Multiverse Spakkerdome)

If you read the general reaction of Reading fans to those of Brighton it's usually the other way round, I generally agree though.

To play devil's advocate, while they may have a bigger fanbase (better catchment area, don't have to compete as much with London clubs, generally played at a higher level) Reading have the better honours and achievements.

It's all very schoolboy-in-the-playground though. You'd think grown men wouldn't be bothered by it.

If piss taking and petty name calling isn't allowed anymore then we may as well all pack up and go home.
