McShane is not in any way a dirty player.....
Is this long running sour grapes for some perceived injustice ?
In which case I hope Joe Allon gets a much deserved red card.

SydenhamRoyal Brentford have the tightest defence at home in the league - just 1 goal conceded. Take away our penalties and only Derby have scored fewer.

2-0

Why would you do that?

We have long memories (except for April 2002 of course)

I still remember Pat Terry when at Reading being a complete thug, unfortunately by the time he came to us he was too slow to inflict any damage

Quite a few comings and goings between the clubs and in recent years mainly Brentford players to Reading.
Talking of thugs, Pat Terry was never in the same thug league as Terry Hurlock but I did enjoy the gypsy's short stay with us.

Talk of ex Brentford and Reading players reminds me of Neil Smilie. Doesn't get many mentions now so thought I'd give him an airing. And for the sake of a "Pointless" answer, there's Brian Statham.

Maybe a spin off thread - what's the record for the most amount of consecutive games in which someone (of either team) has been sent off?

where the oxf*rd is snowball when you need him

Nah I'm not that interested.

Snowball doesn't know useful things like this. And if he did answer it'd be in some weirdly skewed way with inaccurate stats to prove something he was wrong about.
